Overview: Mohini Knight is 16 years old and a Slytherin with a few different personas. Ms. Knight always finishes her homework; Ms. Knight would also never drink, smoke, or have sex. Ms. Knight always is in bed by 11 o’clock. Give Ms. Knight a task and it can be expected to be done to perfection in a timely manner. Ms. Knight is eloquent and does not have a New Yorker accent. Ms. Knight is for teachers and for when Mo gets a bit uptight. On the other hand, there is Mohi. Mohi loves to party, loves to hang out. Mohi can speak rough, and when Mohi gets drunk her New Yorker accent comes out. A balance between the two crazies is Mo. Mo's pretty laid back, she'll have any friends back, and really hates conflicts.
Personality: WHOLE: Mohini has a basic desire to be something in the world. She does not know what yet, she is still experimenting with her place in the world. Her desire is to be the best, to be heard, to be appreciated for her skills. Once Mohini aims for something she will accomplish it. She is incredibly driven to get her goals and has a strong willpower to work through things.
Mohini desires to understand the world around her and the people in it. She pokes and prods emotions of others to test how far she can go. It is not that she is cold, rather she views the world as her massive test lab. Yet she is compassionate and accepting of most people, Mo tries her best to acknowledge everyone has their own back story. Growing up in New York City the half-Indian grew up around many cultures, many stereotypes. Some stereotypes were reinforced but many of the stereotypes were broken. She strives to be a “diplomat” as her father told her to be to other houses. It's this that leads to her brother teasing her of being a "Hufflepuff at Heart."
Methodical in her approach to the world- Logic is the main factor in Mohini’s decisions and Mo evaluates everything before making a decision. This is one reason why Mohini has been so drawn to the art of potions(Transfiguration and Charms are not her strong point). It was her father-daughter bonding as a girl and it has become her forte. Antigone is also curious how all magic works, including the dark arts. This goes with her being accepting of other ideas, she believes bad can be turned into good and vice versa. Mohini doesn’t advertised her interest though.
Mohini is made up of multiple personas, it’s not that she is emotionally disturbed or odd in any way. It’s a different behavior for different people. Who wants to get drunk with their professor? Who wants to have manners when they are hanging out with friends? Mohini certainly doesn’t, so she adapts herself to the situation.

ID (Mohi)-
Baby Mohini was called “Mohi”,Mohi laughed when she wanted, cried when she needed to, and just did what she felt like. The nickname has carried through to her adolescence, but only for times of extreme emotions. Mohi is an escape. Mohi is the opposite of what Mohini wishes to be, but is everything she wants to be. Mohi wears her emotions on her sleeve: she cries when she feels like it, laughs without thinking, and says anything she wants. Raw emotions, raging hormones, uninhibited desires. This is when the Slytherin is most honest. Mohi likes to drink. It makes her more crazy, slips her further away into Neverland, and helps her deal with her insecurities more.
SUPEREGO (Ms. Knight)-
Growing up Mohini’s grandfather always told her “Mohini, you had better be a good girl so you carry the name Knight well.” Her father always told her “Be yourself, but remember who you come from too.” Out of this came Mohini developed a need of approval, especially from authority figures. So Mohini learned to mind her manners, sit up straight, and walk with her head held high. This has carried into her adolescence. Mohini takes detailed notes in class, spends hours in the library, and tries to be the best student all for the hopes of being told “Ms. Knight, good job.” Ms. Knight can quickly tell what someone likes and is quick to change gears to fit that mold. Ms. Knight is also quick to cover up her flaws by masking them over with something she has done well. For example, “Yes, Professor, that paragraph was not the strongest point of my essay, however if you look at this section over here you will see that I clearly deserve an “O” on this paper.” Ms. Knight over thinks her answers, often misses the simplest thing, and then beats herself over it. But Ms. Knight is responsible and receptive, she soaks up information and always gets her homework done of time. This side of Mohini comes out most when in class, in a formal setting, or when working on academic pursuits. Sometimes when someone is being critical she slips into this mood and gets defensive.
EGO (Mo)-
Mohini started to develop into her own person at Hogwarts, outside the control of her parents (however loving they were), and picked up the nickname “Mo” here. Mo is meld of the desires of her parents, Mohini’s own desires, and reality. Mo knows she is insecure and flawed. Not that she likes it; Mo doesn’t like the fact she is short or speaks with a bit of a different accent. But at the age of 16 she has learned to accept it. She is still learning to love all of herself though, resulting in a little bit of insecurity. A comment made about her body, her attitude, or focus on herself still makes Mo uncomfortable, a little uncomfortable in her own skin. The sensitivity is still there, but Mo can filter some comments. This insecurities lead to a neutral attitude of spending time with people, as Mo needs time to herself to recharge, but loves hanging out with friends. Mo is accepting of others though, she understands that people falter or mess things up as she does herself. This is one of her core values that carries on throughout her personality.
