May 17th, Gaia's Great Depression.
It was mad. Gaia was in shambles. Marketplace, one of the most important features in Gaia was down. Trade was down. Comments and PMs were down. Inventory was down. Profiles were down. It was like everything just... Died. zOMG players got hit hard too. Their rings, their precious rings. Gone. Orbs, gone. Gold, gone. Just about everything. And I was there >:/ Airshark was there too! And no one could kill that b*****d because no one had rings. (click for proof.) A common new user named Kit Kat waz here stated, "i felt all hope was lost...." And another more experienced user, Amber-sanXD, shouted out to all of Barton Town, "IT WAS GAY~!" Some others said it was, quote, "Scary", "horrible", "frightening", "creepy" and again "scary." >_> But mere moments after it all finished dying off and people were logging off out of loss, a sign of hope came. "Forums are up!" People rushed to see. Many happy with the new fix. The monkeys were out and caged. >D (They should really put a lock one those things.) "Marketplace is up!" Another rush of joy retorted out from the breaking despair. Slowly people were selling and the economy went up gradually. "My Gaia is up!" Again, another rush. Comments could finally be answered, PMs could finally be responded and friends could be seen again. Soon, everything was back to normal. Everything was back up but I'm sure in everyone's mind that no one will forget how stupid/sad this whole thing was. :/ Btw, when it was all over, a sexy gold sheep logs in and sees me marrying my dervish ring. I just missed it so much. >:/ I had to weld the wedding ring onto my little Dervy though. But that's besides the point. The point is that it's over and GaiaOnline is recovering.
I am a survivor of May 17th, Gaia's Great Depression.
