Good Morrow
He takes a newpaper from the display outside a Ross clothing store. That guy; his name is Jeromy. He's a scientist working at a community collage at South Lake Tahoe, CA. It's a small town, but it fits Jeromy beautifully. His physical features; black hair with red streaks, piercing blue eyes, a tattoo of a granade shaped as an eye on his right shoulder, and three piercings on his left ear.
On the front page of the paper showed a blurry black and white photograph of a black dog-like monster with wing-like limbs growing out of it's back, an odd looking right leg, long tail, skinny at the belly, two pairs of insect-like hind legs, a few sticks sticking out of it's legs and back, shinny right eye, and a terrifying grin stretching from ear to ear. Below the photo wrote "Canine-like beast lurks in the mountains at the Heavenly village/ski resort. Go to page 2." With great curiosity, Jeromy turns to page 2 to read the article, reading...
Beast of Heavenly Village
Photographer, Jon Miller, saying this could be the biggest thing in paranormal discovery. Sceptics say the photo is a hoax, possibly a cardboard cut out painted in black. Jon argues, "It's not a hoax I saw it with my own eyes and Gary is my wittness."
We went to Gary's house to enterview him in his experiance. He sound a bit scaried, but came through with a few odd answers, "This creature, it's was about 4 feet tall. It had a very scary smile, wing-like limbs with nails and tools tied at the ends, a gigantic bird-like right leg that smelled like a decompossed body, arrows all over it's body, a noncolored glass eye, a whip attached to the tail, and two pairs of hind, and bone-like legs with large nails as the paws. The coat was black and a bit grey, I think I also saw some brown going down it's back. The thing, it saw us and was about to attack. When it was 2 feet away from us it came to a pause and made a high pitched sound. After that it just...ran away."

Before Jeromy can continue his friend, Barry walked next to him and greeted him. "Well hi. What are you doing here?" Jeromy asked.
"I was just taking a little jog to the post office when I saw you. What's that?" Barry asked looking at the photograph of the monster.
"Nothing. Just some idiot took a picture of a supposely new animal to Tahoe." Jeromy replied.
"Oh yeah. I heard about that on the news on channel 2 at 7 in the morning."
"Well, I don't believe in this kind of stuff."
"If you think this is a load o' crap then why are you reading 'bout it?"
"I didn't mean to. I was just looking for a new apartment. The this caught my eye."
"You need a break. Tell you what, after I grab bills and letters I'll take you out for a beer, how's that sound?"
Jeromy hestitated for a moment. "I...guess that sounds...alright."
"You don't sound so sure." Barry said witha hint of suspision, "Do you have something esle to do like with your girlfriend."
"I don't have a girlfriend." Jeromy protested.
"Then what was Jenny doing at your house yesterday?"
"She was just visiting."
"Damn! You really need to get laid man. If you don't you'll regret it."
"Sorry Barry, but that not going to happen."
"Whatever queer."
Jeromy ingored that last comment and proseeded to look for a vaccant apartment. Barry just stood next to him feeling very bored and finally left to go to the post office next door to Ross, "See ya later, Jerry." Barry called.
"See ya, Barry." Jeromy responded without looking up. It still puzzled him to know there might be a monster in the mountains, but what was it and where did it come from?
It's 5:30 pm and Jeromy was just arriving home. He lived near the state line so he had to drive half a mile from Ross to get here. Same thing goes for his job. Just when Jeromy got out his keys to unlock his door and series of police cars, paramedics, firetrucks, and dogcatchers came driving through his street. One of his neighbors came running out in his robe and slippers looking at the scene. Jeromy called, "Lance! What's going on?"
Lance looked at Jeromy, "I don't know. I got a call from my husband that he saw the monster near the Harrah's Casino."
"The Beast of Heavenly Village?" Jeromy asked then thought So it's real? "What should we do?"
"I don't know. I think..." Lance was entrupted by his telephone. He let it ring until it was set to voicemail saying, "Warning, warning. People of the state line area must stay indoors until further notice. I repeat, stay indoors for your own safety." After they hung up Lance looked at Jeromy, "I'm going." he said hurrying to his car.
Lance ran towards him, "No! You can't! What if it's the monster? You could get killed."
"Then that's the chance I'll have to take because judging by the series of cars i must be the monster and I want to see it for myself." Jeromy said getting inot his car and driving away.
Lance whipsered, "You dumbass."
Jeromy drove as fast as he can until he ran over wolf-like beast. As soon as it got clipped it made a noise as if it whined. Luckly, Jeromy made it with only a bleeding forehead. Could this be the monster? Jeromy thought. To his surprize the animal stood up as if nothing had happened and had no damages marked on it. It was exactly as discribed in the article. It looked at him, "Hey!! Watch where your going, human!!!" it yelled in a deep growling tone. Jeromy froze at the fact it just spoke. It is the monster!
The police spotted it and began to shoot, "DUCK!!!" yelled one of the officers to Jeromy. He did what they said and listened to the gunshots then looked up to see the monster run up the mountain and into the woods. As the shooting stopped, Jeromy heard one of the cops say, "It's heading for the tunnels." he said going into the police vihicle and drive away along with the others. Jeromy got out of his car to see the damage. All he can see was a large dent that reach the engine, three of his mirrors broken, and his windshield shattered. It looked like he just hit a pole or a boulder. He got back into his car trying to start it, but never moved. Out of frustration, Jeromy hit the steering wheel, accidentally activating air bag. He slapped the bag out of his face, got out of his car, and started running...
