I really don't want to go in the first place. Then add those new airport scanners to the mix. Really, now?
(tangent: how do they implement an idea, an idea such as this, and not even THINK that they may have violated child pornography laws? A scanner that takes nude pictures of you... yeah ok... children weren't even considered? Children are used as terrorist weapons all the time, COME ON! WTF.
And another thing: is it just a coincidence that an "underwear bomber" gets onto a plane [yet you can't sneak onto the plane with "gel shoe inserts"] and all of a sudden they're like,"OMG, that dang underwear bomber! Well, whaddya know, luckily we have this new technology! Let's implement them; it could've prevented the whole thing!" What a lovely coincidence. Create a solution for a disaster that hasn't happened yet, create the disaster and badda-bing, badda-boom, you've provided the conditions to implement your technology. Fear (by potential catastrophe) has just convinced people to accept it.
I can only hope Penny is dead accurate about lifespans (in which case I definitely don't need to go).
