I worked really hard this year to make the holidays brighter for others.

Its a long story I wont go into but I ended up agreeing to help out twenty kids for christmas...............yes looking back I think I did lose my brain for a while!

I threw a burlesque show, raised 500 dollars which I spent the next day at a toy store in Tacoma. I bought fun candies educational toys, stocking stuffers....supplies to make more toys. I baked cookies, painted pictures, sewed dolls.
In the end I had a couple of familes not contact me back or show up.
Alias got into a small car accident and the suspension on our truck was thrown off, so he didnt want to drive all over western wa delievering gifts......
I had people how didnt drive arrange rides to get presents, yet some people with cars gave me additude over the fact that I wasnt dropping off gifts.......early this week it got to the point where I threw my hands up in the air and repacked the bags meant for their children into everyone elses bags.

I also had some amazing people show up, people who wrote back to me thanking me for gifts, or who just had the smile that said they were imagining how their kids faces would look opening presents. I ended up spending close to a 1000 on everything I did for these kids, now Alias and I are strapped for cash but happy.
