Will you marry me? AAAAAH! The big question. You know, some guys go all out for their girl to ask this small question. It always results with him on one knee, her in shock, and a sparkling diamond.... Yah, well, my dad was different. He's such a dork. lol. He was VERY nervous about asking my mom, so heres how it went down: They were in my mom's apartment, he was pacing, she was sitting on the couch watching him. She knew what was coming, but she wasn't gonna help him ask. He kept saying things matter-of-factly, like "We've been together for two years" and "I really love you", but hadn't asked yet. Finally, he stopped pacing and looked at her. You know what he said? No, not 'Will you marry me?'. No no. So what does he say to his waiting girl?: "I need a tax deduction. It's either you, or I'm buying a house." (back then, when u got married or owned a house, your taxess were reduced.) Yah, romantic huh? lol. My mom looked at him and said "Is that a proposal?" My dad said yes. My mom thought for a moment and said "On 3 conditions." Poor dad, he was already nervous! Mom continued "I want a house with a porch, I need to finish school(she as in college), and I want a german shepherd puppy." My dad smiled and finally sat down and said, "I can do that." No, there is no 'down on a knee' or actual question. This is exactly how my dad asked. I don't know, but i find this sweet in a way. Anyway, just wanted to share that. sweatdrop Have a great day guyz!

	thats so cute XD you know they had a strong bond if they could get engaged like that without your mom getting all pissed, and its easy to see the humor in it. ^.^
