It didn't take long for word to spread throughout the Hun'Afin compound that the noble family had gained "a new weapon" as they called the nobles. For in reality we were, no, we are weapons, we do nothing but go out, plot, plan, and kill. I proved very useful to my new found matron, by not only making a poison, but one that was not known in the Drow archives. I even used it on the top student of the mage school. The student belonged to the very house we targeted for our next assention.
The house of Do'Ar or, Walkers in poison...ironic, isn't much larger than the Hun'Afin house, they housed over five thousand enslaved troops, we held four thousand. What gave us an edge was four things, the first, we favore assassinations, the second, Tullrian is the the top archer in the city, is a tactical genius, and he personally trains the slaves while his brother, master of hand-to-hand, trains them aswell. Third, one slave in particular, has a special power over terms of the mind; he can read, write, erase, and completely dominates the mind of others, the thing is however, he's completely insane. Now the fourth is the latest, my poisons.

The family planned for months, spying, assassinating key players, and drawing out plans of attack thanks to Tullrian. The basic plan was simple, we send out our troops after a special squad makes their way into the house and whipes out any threat, starting with the priestess daughters. From then we take out the remaning nobles and allow Synt herself to sacrifice the matron to Lolth. I nearly drooled at the thought.
So, the attack commenced, Myself, Shynt'Lara, and the special slave would sneak in. Using a very old trick, their windows. I split up from the other two and took out their warrior sons first, it was easy, they were asleep. Next was one of their daughters, she was giving a prayer to Lolth in the midst of meditation. I crept up behind her, and very coldly whispered into her ear "Your prayers go unanswered and uncared for." I then slit her throat and stabbed her back, right through the heart. It was then I heard a terrifying screech. Some beast had been unleashed within the walls of this fortress!
I raced down many halls, slaying anyone who got in my way. I simply had to see if the one who summoned this creature was one of ours or not. I arrived to see the beast. I was shocked to see three Driders! They slew a group of Do'Ar slaves and standing directly behind them with their arms crossed were Tullrian and the special slave...I must learn his name. In silent code I asked him for his name, he replied with "Ghaun'Aere"
It wasn't until after I located Shynt'Lara and the Do'Ar matron that I realized that our slave had one other ability, he could planes jump! He appeared before me, a skull in his hand, a dagger in the other. The psycho carved a prayer to Lolth into the skull; it turns out, the skull belonged to his mother!!
With the battle won, and the matron sacrificed, we took the surviving slaves brought them back to the fortress of Hun'Afin and began training our 'new recruits'.

After everything had settled, the name Do'Ar had become unexistant, as if our battle had never happend, the house was never there . Even the fortress was completely flattend and we are now house number 29 of 49 houses. I was called to by Shynt'Lara herself, she told me of the other houses and informed me that they all had a special ability that only belonged to that one house. No body outside could learn or was never taught these special tricks. However, due to my obvious show in loyalty, I was permitted to learn this family's trick. Suddenly Shynt'Lara melted int the shadow of her throne and appeared behind me. "we literally walk in the shadows, Ist'lyn, and soon, you will too..." she hissed.
It took me until I was over 130 to learn this and I was 75 at the time. Now, I too walk in the shadows, more deadly than ever...
