It was a dark night when the nightmarish deed was committed. She gave her soul for love without a second thought and was happy until it backfired. He loved her, the devil had kept his promise, but the eerie peace that filled the house only lasted a few days; afterwards he began to hurt the foolish woman.
One pain filled month passed and a bright red light shone against her eyelids as she tried to feign sleep, quivering under her bed covers after another beating. A beautiful long haired man stood at the edge of her bed, holding a violin case she soon recognized as her own. The red skinned man threw it on the bed and with a satanic voice commanded her to stand up. She obeyed and left the room as the demonic being had ordered. Out of curiosity, as she walked, she examined the case slowly. Nothing was different about it. She opened it and saw the familiar violin that had kept her company for years. A flash of light came from her bow and she examined it closely. What had once been a plethora of cream colored horse hairs was now replaced with a thin metallic sheet with a serrated edge.
She walked over to where her love laid in a drunk stupor over a puddle of his own bile and lifted her arm above his head. With one sweeping motion she cleanly ended the life of her one true love and torturer.
The horned man took her down to the depths of hades where she played her sonatas and overtures until the end of time. She mourned her lost love but still relished the stains of blood that still marked the beautiful mahogany bow.
