Ok ok... I haven't updated in a realleh loooong time... sweatdrop I'm sorry for any of you who actually take the time and effort to read meh journal! razz Well... a LOT has happened since meh last entry... where to start...

Well, first thing that happened since I last wrote, is meh Dad ran off w/ that woman he was having an affair with... eek Yeah, I know... But he did come back, literally crawling on his hands and knees. I thought he was going to be gone for good, then I come home from work and see him and meh mom all crying... I'll admit... It was WAY awkward... But they are now quite happy. Actually, it's the happiest I've seen them in years! biggrin Y'know the saying, "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I think they'll be alright.

Second thing that happened, meh Dad almost died... eek Yeah, DIED! As if meh family didn't have enough problems, right? lol. Well, my dad over dosed on his blood pressure medications and passed out while he was walking! He fell and hit the bath tub, HARD. So we took him to the hospital and they said that he only broke a couple of ribs. Everythings fine, right? And then 3 days later, I come home from running a few errands, and I find him curled up in a little ball on the floor out cold! So I try to stir him awake, and he just cries in pain. So I called my mom and told her to come home. She takes him to the hospital and they put him in ICU. Apparently, his spleen ruptured! He had been internally bleeding for three days! And they didn't even see it! So in a 5 day period, he had 4 surgerys. His blood wouldn't clot and his liver and kidneys were failing. The doctors told us he wouldn't make it... I just got him back, and now I was going to lose him forever... I was horrrified... I've never cried so hard in my life. When I went to visit him for what I thought was the last time, I coudn't stand to see him. He had a huge breathing tube shoved down his throat which forced air in and out of his lungs. It looked like they were forcing air into a corpse... It was awful. After calming myself, I made an effort to see him in this state. I told him that I loved him. So I get home and try to sleep, but I didn't get very much rest. But the next day, I get a call @ home. The doctor said that he was going to be alright! biggrin They had to completley remove his spleen, so he's spleenless now, but he's fine! He's here at home now, so it's great!
