I saw two geese fighting in the cemetery this morning.
It was kind of scary, actually. They bit each other at the nape of their long necks and beat each other with their wings. A third goose looked on and kept honking at them, either goading them on or telling them to stop, who knows...
I finished watching Blood+. For a very dramatic vampire series with little humor, I actually kind of enjoyed it (mostly because Haji is awesome, I'll admit). I mean, he plays the cello and is utterly devoted to Saya. Actually I'm not sure why he is so awesome. He just is. But the series did have some very interesting points to make, especially about the American government and terrorism. It is very like our government to want to control other nations by both holding the means to terrorize others and the only means to combat that terrorism. Obviously in this case they were creating other-worldly bloodsucking creatures, but still. The point remains. And it's a sad one. But did I mention Haji is cool?
