Back at the Command Center, The Rangers were greated by Zordon.
"Good work Rangers, an excellent job." he praised.
"What happend to the Scroll of Time?" asked Billy.
"And where's Amy?" asked Adam.
"The Scroll of Time was discharged from the Red Coat Knight just as you completed your final attack." said Zordon.
"I was able to retrieve it with a teleportation beam just in time." said the tiny bot. He hit a button on the computer and was now holding the scroll.
"Time is short, Rangers, one of you must pass into the Scroll of Time and free Amy from her current state."
"What's her current state?" asked Rocky.
"Observe the Viewing Globe."
The six Rangers turned to see Amy tied to a stake, coughing from the smoke.
"Zordon, how can we get to her?" asked a worried Adam.
"As I said, one of you must pass into the scroll and free her."
"I'll go." said Tommy, "I lead this team so I should go after her."
"Very well Tommy, good luck and may the power protect you."
So Tommy stepped up to Alpha. He put his hand on the scroll and concentrated. But instead of passing into it, he was repleded instead.
"What happen?" asked Kimberly, going to Tommy's side.
"It appears Rita's spell is more powerful than originally thought." said Zordon.
"Alpha, do a quick scan, there has to be a reason why Tommy couldn't enter." said Billy.
Adam continued to watch the Viewing Globe. Amy's head nodded a few times and soon was held down. He turned and grabbed the scroll from Alpha.
"There's no time for analyzing, Amy needs us now." he said. And before anyone could stop him, Adam was sucked into the scroll. He stated to fall into the square. He landed right by the fire. Many people began to scream and ran in fear of him. Without thinking, Adam jumped onto the pile of burning wood.
"Hang on Amy, I'll get you out of here. Please, be alright." he said.
"Zordon, we have to do something." said Aisha.
"Adam and Amy are going to be toast." said Rocky.
"According to my scan," said Billy, "it appears that only a weapon that could have exisited in that time can free Amy."
"So, what's that mean for Adam?" asked Tommy.
"Adam has the Power Ax, axes have always been around. He's really the only one who can save her."
"If that's true, how do we let Adam know?" asked Kimberly.
"Adam must discover that for himself." said Zordon.
"Man, I hope he figures it out in time." said Tommy. The five Rangers watch the Viewing Globe on the edge of their nerves.
Adam, inside the scroll, was trying everything he could think of to free her, but nothing was working.
"Alright, that's it." he said. He drew his Power Ax and began to hack away. Like magic, the ropes broke and an unconsicous Amy fell into his arms. He scooped her up and got her away from the fire. "Ok, now how do I get back home?" he asked himself.
"He did it!" shouted Rocky
"Way to go Adam." said Aisha, hugging Rocky.
"How do we bring them back?" asked Billy.
"Simple," said Alpha, "we teleport them." The little bot turned to the control pannel, hit a button and suddenly Adam and Amy were safe in the Command Center. Adam held Amy close to him, surprised to see everyone.
The next day at school, Amy, Aisha, and Adam turned their history papers in. They all got A's. After school, Seth came up to Amy and Aisha.
"Can we talk?" he said, leaning beside her locker.
"Sure, go ahead." she said, packing her bag.
"Hey, don't you have some cotton to pick?" he said to Aisha.
"What was that, pal?" she said snapping at him.
"Aisha, I'll meet you at the Juice Bar."
"Just for the record, I don't like you." Aisha said to Seth. Aisha stormed off.
"What was that about, why did you insult her?" Amy said, turning to face him.
"I'm sorry. Listen, I know I've been really jerky as of late, so I was thinking maybe you and I could get together this weekend."
"It's going to take more than dinner and a movie to smooth this over."
"So how about we go up to my parent's lake house? A romantic weekend, just you and me."
"That sounds great, but I don't think my parents would let me, especially my mom."
"How about I come over and get to know your folks?"
"Not gonna happen, they'll be busy all weekend."
"Are you trying to hide me from your parents?"
"No, it's just my parents are busy people. If you really want to meet them, we have bunch every Sunday at the Juice Bar."
"Ok, it's a date then."
"Ok then." she smiled. Seth smiled back, he leaned down and kissed her lips. Just then, Adam came around the corner, heading for the front door. He saw the two of them and his stomach sank. He felt sick. He and Amy hadn't had a chance to talk about the day before. Seeing her now with Seth, he felt he would never be able to win her heart. He turned and started to go the other way.
