Forever and ever,
I thought we'd always be,
until that fateful day,
when you turned away from me.

I tried to call your name,
but you brushed me to the side,
you were so cold to me
that everyday I cried.

I wondered what I had done
to be so crually treated,
and I had wondered if our childhood
would soon be repeated.

Now I know the reason,
you told me almost two months ago,
that on the day we ran away
I left you all alone.

On that night almost two months ago
I repeated and repeated
how sorry I really was
for the way you were treated.

And to this day
I will say how sorry I really am
if only you could hear
when I break the dam.

For forever I hope we'll be
together, forever,
only you and me.

Now only one thing remains to be said
now I can say it before I am dead.
