Addressed to the One I Love
I stand by, just waiting,
Waiting for that chance to make you mine
And as I sit and watch you fall in love, I am dying inside
Many chances come and go, and I am still waiting,
Waiting for that special time, that I can finally find my courage and approach you with my question
The time finally comes and I go up to you
But as I speak, I stutter and choke
And everyone is watching, I feel like an idiot,
It's like a bad joke
Who knew saying six words would be so difficult:
Will You...
Go Out...
