The Rose is beatiful and strong
But trapped in a cage of her own thorns
Those who reach in to help
She will only scratch back
Claiming she is can't let you do that
She cries and weeps to turn you around
She wants to be rid of the thorns she's found
But they're stuck so deep that to pull is to hurt
She pulls herself away hiding again in her cage of thorns
