The cause of the common fear of the dark is not in the element of darkness itself.
Most likely we fear the dark because we fear the unknown. There are people who fear and avoid the unknown and there are people who seek to make the unknown known. Personally i aspire to make knowledge of the unknown and challenge questions. Make comments that contain interesting questions about Gaia and or your real life and i will experiment in order to give you an answer.

When it's dark, you are afraid of what you cannot see. You are fearing the unknown...But when you turn on the light you may be more afraid of what you see...so which would you prefer? Living in darkness and hiding your fear, or turn on a light but risk the worst? Lol I thought of this once while in bed... ^_^
