Have ye seen the new channels? Looking at them makes me wanna burning_eyes .Anyways, YouTube wants to FORCE all users to change our current channels to the bloody new ones or they'll change them on the 15th. http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?&answer=152024
So, to protest, pretty much all of the YouTube users (myself included) are planning on logging out of YouTube at noon on the 14...as the video in this link says: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX6EYkR60mc
Personally, I don't think it's going to work out according to plan, since everyone is supposed to log out on the 14 anyways. I (as moonpirate10) commented:
Shouldn't the blackout happen sooner? Like atleast two days before the 15. Cause, if what you're saying is correct, the black out will happen while everyone is supposed to log out any way...
I'm thinking, for this blackout to actually have a big impact, it should be before we're supposed to log out.
Just an idea: why not log out on the 4 of july as soon as the fireworks are over and not get back on for...lets just say...a week?
I mean, why not? If everyone logs out on the 4 of july after the fireworks and doesn't get back on for a while, that might send the message a tad bit clearer than if everyone logs off on the day we're supposed to log off and only says off for 12 hours...
