Obviously by now you know I’m a vampire. I have lived for hundreds of years. In reality vampires are not at all like the fictional characters seen in Twilight and other stories. Let me set some things strait. First of all we do not sparkle. In fact we can go outside in daylight and nothing will happen. Why do we choose to go out in the night? The answer is simple. It is easier to kill humans and drink their blood without being seen when it is dark. Also it is true that we can fly. We have wings that we conceal. We do in fact have a much longer lifespan than humans do. I have lived for hundreds of years already. All vampires have red irises (eyes). Some vampires more powerful than myself can change the color of the iris of their eyes when not using their powers; I instead use blue colored contacts. By the way contacts do not disintegrate because of venom. Vampires do not have venom! If you noticed I mentioned that vampires have powers. I, like many other vampires, can erase the memory of humans. Vampire hunters also have this power. I can also do many other things, but I don’t feel like talking about my powers at this very moment. There are different kinds of vampires. There are pure bloods that are the most powerful. They simply have never had any human blood in their family. Then there are vampires like myself. There is no specific name for us. We are vampires that come from families tainted with human blood. Some are mixed breeds, half vampire and half human. We are the second most powerful. By the way if you haven’t noticed, vampires can give birth. Then there is the last type of vampire. Vampires who were once human. It’s pretty self explanatory. Not every human bitten by a vampire becomes a vampire. In fact a human can live a normal life after being bitten by a vampire. After being bitten sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes the human turns into a vampire. Other times the human and the vampire’s souls are combined. It kind of works like a love potion. The humans can also die, but that is not usually caused by being bitten. Death is usually caused by loss of blood. There is much more to tell but writing all of this is becoming quite boring.
