Rayne's hair is the most beautiful blonde that shimmers gold when exposed to the sun. Her eyes are eerily the same colour as her adopted mother, Aki even though they share no know blood relation. It is also eerie just how alike the look when they are together.
Personality: Rayne is a big tough girl. You try knocking her down, it's impossible. She is as immovable as a rock. She will probably end up pushing you down instead. Indeed it is odd how a girl who has been raised by Aki, who is so gentle and weak grew up to be so strong and tough. Other then her rough attitude she doesn't seem to show much else personality wise. She is usually very solitary.
Biography: Rayne was adopted by Aki when she was 12 having been found alone in the streets of a country she had visited while on the run. She was heavily injured and seemed to be the only survivor of her family which had been attacked by vampires. At first she seemed to shrink away from Aki, preferring to let Hitomi near her but in time she learned that not all vampires were evil and it was in fact Aki who had killed the vampire that had killed her family, not long after she had found Rayne.
Being on the run with Aki for so long she soon learned to resent the world in general, and even though she felt she owed Aki much for taking her in and nursing her back to health she still couldn't help the growing resentment she felt for the world in general. While traveling her eyes were opened to all sorts of experiences that a young person should not have to endure.
Eventually she left Aki and Hitomi and set off to do her own thing. She was about fourteen when she set out into the world on her own though she always kept in contact with Aki, since she was her adopted mother. Aki was the one person that she found she could not cause to much pain too and after seeing much of the lonely suffering in her mothers eyes she couldn't bear to be the cause of more in her.
When she found out about Aki's placement as a teacher in a school she couldn't help but want to see the latest place her mother had settled into and she figured she should visit for a while to see how her mother was doing. Aki seems to be the only person she treats with some sort of respect or indeed is polite in front of at all times.
