May 2009 Gold Gambino Run: Success!
So there it is, the fishing stats for the month of May. I finally have my Gold Tuna. It's been a long time coming, actually. I've been fishing in Port of Gambino since July 2005. I remember fishing back then with Silent Whisper. Miyu and Slly, along with Badgerjmg and her kids xd Silent was my big time idol because she always bagged those trophies and I wanted to be like her as well, to get the Gold or whatever trophy I wanted in that lake. The first time I appeared in the Official Fishing Stats was during that month when Elendilon ruled the boards and amazed all of us. I was a measly #15 in the Gambino ranks but I was happy since I was visible on the boards at last. Sadly, real life matters took precedence over Gaia and I had to stop playing a couple of times, even periods of 6 to 9 months without opening my account. But eventually, I wandered back to Gaia and to fishing. I vowed to myself that I won't stop until I get my Gold Tuna. So yeah, I'm holding it right now. I even managed to get a Junk Bronze just for the hell of it xd
Of course, this all wouldn't be possible without the help and support of my friends. So, I would like to thank some people for making this happen. First, to greenfairy1, she has been really supportive of my trophy run, giving me A and F baits and being with me in the fishing rooms I'm in even though I don't talk that much or prefer to be by myself. Thanks so much bhie! Without your whole-hearted support, I would not have won. Second, to Dragon Cross, my lil bro in Gaia. He gave baits as well and his sense of humor never fails to amuse me xd To Samanthalicious, for the generous donation of baits and cans, as well as your funny self. It's always fun to be with Filipinos biggrin To Luccessi and lavalem as well, I don't know, you guys are just enjoyable to be with. And oh, lava gave me tokens and flowers while Luc gave me Sharp Fish Teeth. Yay! And to all the others who I forgot to mention, I owe you guys a lot. You have my gratitude 3nodding
