the colors of life

how dramatic
how estatic
the life we live is all a lie
no madder how hard we try
we find no comfort
we live behind a broken mask
caught up in some divided task
were left alone to fight
and lay awake for the morning light
as days pass
the life we live is makeing its past
we find ways to hide our emotions
until we see our notions
the day grows dark and cold
like our hearts as we grow old
the wrinkles in our face
create an undivided race
the creases
and wounds all have a story
only the storys are long
we find some type of song
the song they sing lurre us in
we find the interest from within
our life make colors
colors of sorrow
colors of happyness
colors of love
only the colors fade like chalk
on a sidewalk
the tears from the clouds come down
and we drown
with noone to hear our tears
were left alone to fight our fears
and again we fade like the colors of life
