For so long I thought I was in a world where all I saw was people moving quickly and in different directions. Seeing the world as it spins and constantly changing. It made me wonder why I was the one stuck watching, drifting and standing in the middle of everything. But now I realize I was the one traveling. The one living in that different plane of motion and thought. The one who was traveling faster then anyone else.

Dad I'm not as cursed as you claim us to be. I've understood for years longer then you realize. I'll take these gifts, curses or whatever they are and make them into wonders. I understand why you said some things while mom did the things she did. I can only imagine about the grandfather who passed this down to me while knowing why my dad and his siblings are so strange. But then I ask how I'm the only one currently who has it to this degree. But I got it easy compared to what you were and are going through. I know how to hide it and luckily I have people out there who embrace me and how I work. The things that were considered odd before are now blessings. I just wish I could go see that little girl and give her a hug.

Lately life has been falling into place and I know myself better then ever.
I was once told by a friend how simple and yet complicated a person I tend to be. Funny how I'm an open book that has to be read between the lines. But that's how I prefer myself to be. Reaching for that twilight, that good mix of yin and yang.

No one has to understand what or why I wrote this. This one's for me.
