School Work
This is a collection of stories and poems I have written over the years. I'm doing this more so as a back up file for the stories I've recently written, and old favorites of mine. Feel free to read them.
Unknown Intent
Unknown Intent

Still as a statue,
Intent as can be,
He sits on a fence and stares at me.
Chan link beneath him,
The blue sky above him,
Two beady eyes full of knowledge and wonder.
He's vermin to some,
Just a rat with wings.
But to others he's not,
He's just wildlife on the scene.
Him and his colleagues,
They strut around on skinny legs,
Thinking they rule this little middle school.
They're vultures,
Taking whatever they find.
They're gerbils,
Skittish to the slightest touch.
Together they take flight leaving one behind.
And now he stares at me with beady eyes.
He's a pigeon,
On a fence,
With a look of unknown intent.

This was written as an assignment to use imagery, similes, metaphors and all that in a poem. We had to take a photo and write an entire poem based of it. I chose a pigeon. If I ever get the photo I promise I'll put it up.
