The rain splattered against the dark pavement, heavy with cold harsh feeling as it ran down the back of Bradens neck, soaking his jacket and trousers through.
With music blasting in his ears Braden took a step foreward into the circle of salt, thoughts and feelings barraging him the moment his foot touched the inner circle.
images of Kadin and Domi.... His Mother and Sister.... images he hadnt even seen before crossed the threshold of his mind as words leaked from his mouth in the latin tongue, stinking of power and free magic.
The power back lashed through his head sending tears flying from his eyes as a image focused before him, A large barrel chested man appeared reathed in amber and ochre flames stood before braden in a blurry almost transparatant fashion.
The Wing scars falred to life across Braden's body as the mans name came to him,
Kai - Angel of flames.
Forcing hiself forewards into the mist settling around Angel as the water evaporated on the wings of fire and retripution Braden embraced the figure as its eyes opened crisp and cold.
Flames bombarded bradesn head and soul as the runes and scars covering his body engulfed the flaming figure, his own eyes melding with the angels, pain racking its self through his snew and muscle.
Then gone, fire and brimstone, pain and images, gone with an instant as Braden dropped to his knees, warm and cold sweat dropping to the already wet pavement.
Steam still rising Braden got up and headed back towards his back door where Domi slept upstairs a small smile on his face, pulling a pair of glasses from his breast pocket to hide the new shade of blue. He had done something not to be exactly proud of tonight but something nessicary, deep within his mind the figure stood watch taking in everything behind new eyes....
