When I graduate,
And my hat has been tossed
I will return to Suitland
To reclaim what was lossed

I will go and open
That grand double door
And search so hard,
My body will grow sore

And after hours of searching
You, I will see
And I will be happy,
For you will see me

But when we come face to face
I will just stare
Because I won't know what to do
And you just won’t care

And as I stand,
You will walk away
And I will be crushed
For you had nothing to say

But what I silently whispered
Was truly from the heart
