Hello everyone! I'm here to announce my extreme joy that it's my 17th birthday! blaugh I don't know exactly why I'm so excited about it, and to tell you the truth I can't see why anyone else would be as excited about my birthday, but all I know is I just am. I think I'm coming to the realization that in another year I will be considered an adult. I've basically been an independent person since I was a kid, but now I can start taking my independence to greater heights. It's also getting closer to the time when I will have the privalege of going to College (Bucknell University hopefully). That I cannot wait for either.

But in light of this happy day, I'd also like to take this time to pay my repects to a freshman girl that went to my high school and participated in my school's band with me. She, unfortuneatley, was killed in a pedestrian accident about a week and a half ago. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I do know that she was hit by a car while crossing the street and then she died in the hospital 1 hour later. She was a very sweet and innocent little girl with a big heart and an even bigger smile. I never really got to know her, but I've known her brother for the past 5 years. So if you all could, keep this girl and her family in your prayers. Thank you.
