The following few years things moved fast in Rhina. The city we stayed in was called Faeven. A castle was built there it was in the center of Rhina and was to be there capital. Morhavin would lead things from there. I was given the same education there as Morhavin himself had as far as learning how to run a country. He involved me in everything and i was grateful, i felt imoportant. It was his way of woeing me i guess. Those years were wonderful between us. He would marry me on my 15th birthday though two weeks before that was when things between us started to take a different turn.
War was comeing to a stop then and we went to Tesla to make nice with there new King Ashar. Morhavin took me along as well thinking it would be good for me i guess. They had set up a camp that might as well have been a small town within itself nor far from where we got off on the boats. It was ment like this so both parties would have a equal number of men. Even if they could kill us like bugs.
That evening we all sat together eating. Morhavin and Ashar spoke of many things. Ashar was a lovely man from top to bottum. He was a couple of years older than Morhavin and taller as well. His hair was like mine and he held lovely deep blue eyes. He was arrogant though to a harshness that was all his own. The night ran smothly and we were set to leave the next day. I couldn't sleep that night however. Morhavin would always laugh at me because i was so at odds at being locked up in stone walls for so long. It couldn't be helped my childhood had been in the forest. It was a habit i never broke from. I walked outside and went down to the beach to feel the sand between my toes.
Kit stayed there letting the water make her feet sink into the ground. She didnt notice when he would walk up behinde her, but he would hear his voice. "It is strange to find you out here like this. Even strager that i find someone like you with them."
"Them?" Kit asked quite confused as she turned to him.
His hand reached out and touched her hair so like his own.. everything about her was so like his own. Even the power she wasn't notieing in herself."No matter, you shouldn't be out here alone. Demon's might get you in the night." He said with a charming smile.
Kit's smile matched his own. She wasn't scared of him as most would be. "Wouldn't want to start a war your highness." She spoke as she removed her feet and started to head back.
Ashar reached out and grabbed her hand before she went and drew her to him. "Are they what you want?" He asked in a serious tone that took her by suprise. She was about to answear him when something ruffly pulled her sholder.
Morhavin now had her upper arm in his grasp with his left hand the other held a sword pointed to Ashar. "Leave her alone." If a tone could kill Morhavin's would have been it.
Ashar only smiled. As Morhavin lowerd his blade slowly. Then Ashar move quicker than Morhavin could follow. The blade hit the dirt. Before either one of them could react. Ashar leaned in much to close to Morhavin and whisperd something.
Morhavin didn't answear back as he turned dragging Kit in toe.
He didn't speak to me again until the next night after we ate on the ship back to Rhina. I knew he was angery. I also knew I had done nothing wrong, though everytime I tried to speak with him he would turn me away. I had no clue what Ashar had said to him. I hadn't wanted to know really. This sall event had shatterd our happyness together.
He called me to his rooms as i said after we ate. I hardly even want to think of what happend that night. Once he told me to shut the door it started all at once. He had me pinned there aginst the door. He called me things I didn't desvere. I fought back aginst him, tried to push him away but he had grabbed at my throat and then i was on the bed.
He married me a couple weeks later like i had said on my birthday. He I think felt bad for that night of abuse for the first years then he was never so hurtful to me. Something could did come from that awful night however. Our son Theron was born.
These things i am telling you. You might wonder why i didn't fight more against him. Why I didn't do anything about my uncle. I had no idea of the power i wield then. I also as odd as it sounded loved them in my own way. My uncle had been all i had in the world. As for Morhavin men looked up to him. There was nothing i could have done he was a king. He was not a evil, or bad man. Whatever you might think of the above, I have learned that some of limit to so much before they are drive mad. Morhavin was like that and he would later never be able to handle what was to come.
