Guardian Demon


Helen's PoV

"Helen! Time to get up!" "Coming!"

Hey, my name is Helen! And I have a story to tell you. Well lets starts at the begining shall we? I was 17 years old, was a straight A student, and was beautiful to some people. It's sorta odd how it began, but I'm sure you'll get it!

Helen was just getting ready for school when her mom said that. She decided to put up her brown hair in a ponytail to keep it out of her chocolate eyes. She was wearing her school unifrom, which consisted of a white collar shirt with a navy bow or tie (tie for that day) and a navy skirt. She went to HalloFar Prep School.

Helen ran down the two flights of stairs to the ground floor of her house to get to the car. She hopped into the car with a poptart and called to her mom, "I'm in the car! Let's go!"

Her mom came running out of the house in heels which was a funny sight. Helen looked a lot like her mom and a lot of people people mistaking one from the other. She was as smart as her mother, who was a lawyer.

"Ok! Let's go!" Her mom dropped her off at school and left to go to work. "Hey Helen!"

Helen turned around to see her best friend Jenny standing at the huge tree in the courtyard. She could tell it was her by her pale blonde hair. She ran over there to greet her.

"Hey! How have you been?" "Good! How are you?" "Great!" They went on talking until a girl ran over to them and interupted they're conversation.

"Did you see the new kid yet? He's really cute!" Then the girl ran off. Helen and Jenny looked at each over and both started to follow the girl, which lead them to a huge crowd. "Hey! Let us see!" They cried jumping up and down. They managed to worm there way through the crowd and were dazed by what they saw.

There was a handsome boy that looked about 17 years old standing in the middle of the crowd. He had dark brown hair that was partly spiked up, sapphire eyes, and a pretty nice body. Helen and Jenny were gaping at the sight. Then suddenly the guy looked Helen way, smirked and winked at her, then started walking towards the main building. When everyone else saw he was moving, they moved too.

Jenny then turned to Helen, who's mouth was still hanging out slightly, and said, "Did he just wink at you? You're so lucky! He's gorgous! And..." She went on but Helen didn't hear anything else than those few first sentences. 'Why DID he wink at me? I guess he meant it for someone else...'

The day seemed to drag on for Helen for the first time in her life. She was so happy when the bell rang signaling the school day had ended. In class she learned that the guy's name was Ace. But she was still wondering about when she first saw him. "Hey Helen! Wait up!" Brought her out of her thoughts.

She turned around to wait for Jenny, who was the one who called out for her to wait, to catch up with her. "Well, what do you think about James?" said Jenny wen she caught up. Helen suddenly stopped. "Why do you ask that? He wouldn't want to go out with me when there are a lot of pretty and popular girls out there, and I'm not one of them." Helen explained. Jenny turned around to face her. "You're a lot nicer, smarter, and more beautiful for our age so don't talk so negative about yourself." "Do you really believe that?" "Yes, I do." Helen sighed and started walking again. "Well then there's no way to change your mind then is there? Fine I'll stop talking 'negative' about myself okay?" "Yay!", Jenny squieled, "I win!" "For now!" 'but maybe he's just a badass kinda guy, you never can tell.' 'But you don't really know that do you?' said a voice in her head. It was very faint, fainter than she ever heard a voice before. She thoght nothing of it and walked on.

When they got to Helen's street, they saw James there. He was right next to Helen's house they both noticed. "O my stars! He's at your house! He MUST like you!" "Maybe he lives on the street or something.", said Helen nervously. But they walked to her house none the less. Then he walked over to them. He hooked his arm with Helen's. "Hey. You're Helen right? I'm James." Helen was dumbstruck. She looked to see her friend's reation, which was laughing silently. Helen glared at her and looked back to James. "What are you doing here!?" "I wanted to walk you home." James said so casually as if they knew each other very well. "Ok! I'll leave then! Have a good walk Helen!" said Jenny while running off. "Hey! Wait! Come back here!" "No worries. Let's get you home." said James pulling her along towards her house.

Helen felt a whirlwind of emotions pass through her but didn't understand one of them.They reached her house and he opened the door. Helen walked in with a mutter of thanks and then she heard the door close. "Now, let's get down to buisness." James said while walking towards her.
