I just thought I'd write a little something to let everyone know how much I appreciate the Gaia site and the wonderful staff that run it. The reason for my gratitude, surfaced recently, before I sort of took it all for granted after years of being part of the community.

About three or four weeks ago, my account (yes, this one), was hacked. My name was changed, as was the email address and password (to add insult to injury, the person responsible changed the sex of my avatar as well). A great friend helped me go through and list the important things that I would not be able to get back without great expense or at all (thank you), which took a few hours. After which I submitted my hack report to the Gaia staff. Wondering and waiting was the hardest part, but it also taught me to be patient. Seeing how many other threads in the Q&A Forum also made me feel some better, to know I wasn't the only one going through this. That I wasn't alone.

I also had wonderful support from that great friend that helped me go through all the items for the hack report, who swore that if I wasn't able to get everything back, she'd do everything she could to help me. Again, thank you.

And a huge, huge thank you to all the hard working Gaian Staff who are doing their very best to solve these issues as well as create security that keeps all of our accounts safe. I wish I could personally thank each of you, but I'm afraid this will have to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Keep up the great job guys & gals.
