Now, I know that I change her a lot, but this is going to be the last time for quite a while. I'm taking a break from the character development. >.< This time, I acutally developed her like this in a thread, which is a good thing for me. I acutally drew her this time ^_^, and if I had a scanner, the picture would so be up. Too bad for me, I'm poor. And we all know, now that she's human, she can actually die without being reincarnated.
Name: Altia Meander Age: Around 25, or in her mid 20's. Gender: Female Race: Human (Wolf-shapeshifter) Occupation: Beta Femme, Mother, & DreamWalker Apperance: Human Altia, at the most looks like she's 17. Now that she's human, she has a lightly tanned complection. Long blond tendrils cascade down from her scalp, the tips tinted red. Orbs of a beautiful magenta color are set into her skull, and they seem to sparkle whenever she smiles. Underneath her right eye, is a blue wave line tatoo, almost looking like war paint. She normally wears a black vest that has a grey X across the front of it, and a pair of black shorts that seem to stick to her skin. A leather belt holds her weapons, and a pair of maroon colored boots finish off her outfit (yes, she knows they don't match). Wolf Altia looks much different then when she had first become a wolf in the Dream Realm. Her pelt is now a beautiful golden yellow, and seems to always rustle, even when there isn't a wind blowing. Down by the ankles near her paws, the fur is longer and is tinted red, along with the fur by her ears, and on the end of her bushy tail. She has a red "sun" marking underneath her right eye. Her wings are a very interesting sight. The right wing, is pure white, and is adorned in pure white feathers, like an angels wings. Her left wing is leathery, like a demons wings. The underside of the leather, at the top is red, and on the bottom it is orange. Personality: She's a normally cool and collected person. She will rarely show emotion now, keeping everything bottled up inside of her hard shell of a body. She really does car about others, despite her little "detacho-woman" act. Altia is very protective of her two son's, even though they are gaining on her in age, quite fast now. She can sometimes be ditzy, and can act childish. Weapons: Hand Gun - Altia received this as a gift from Seta for her 25th birthday. She's kind of rusty with a gun, but will use it with as much skill as she has learned from Seta. "Tarot" Cards - They arn't turely Tarot Cards, though she can use them to see into the future (verryyy small time). These cards, have symbols on their front, symbolizing one element. When she absorbs the power of that card into her body (via the tatoo), she can use that element for a short amount of time. Lightness Dark Staff - This is a very interesting staff. The pole itself is a wonderful silver, which is diamond edged. At the bottom there is a blue sphere. At the top there is a similer sphere, but this blue sphere glows when she uses some of the staff's power. Off of the top sphere, are two wings, one angelic-like, and one demonic-like. This staff gives her the power of the wind element. Sword of Death - This is the trusty sword that has never left Altia's side. The hilt is in the shape of angel wings, at the tip of the hilt is a ruby gem. The blade is Crystaline, having a purple mist swirling inside of it. This sword captures the souls of the ones that she kills, and in this case, it is impartial to it's weilder.
All of these weapons she carries with her at all times. The Gun, and cards in in pouchs on the leather belt, and the sword is in it's sheath, which is tied to the belt as well. She just carries her staff with her. Powers: Altia's powers have been furhter limited, from her switch over to human after her last death. As always, she has the ability to walk the Dream Realm. With the cards, she has the powers of the elements on her side, and the only one that she doesn't need anything to aide her with, is Ice. She also has the powers of illusion magic on her side, but now she doesn't hold as much energy, so she can't use it too much. History/Bio: Altia's history is very long, and very complicated. We must start all the way from the begining, even before she had become...Altia Meander.
Looke, the wonderful Angel of Death. She belonged to the land of Azerath, in which case, she was bound to listen to everything that the king asked. In this case, he ordered her to go to the elven land of Sparren, to get an Orb, the Orb of Ophalius. And so, she obeyed and started her quest. Looke had arrived on the land of Sparren, very much different from the rest of the elfish inhabitants. Her large angelic wings gave her an aura that claimed her untouchable by any being that was unworthy. She was undoubtedly an Angel, and a very powerful one at that. She approched the King, and gave a proposal of taking the Orb, but in return Sparren would always be protected, and they would always find a friend in Azerath. The King, Mojaius had refused her proposal, and ordered her to leave his sight, keeping the Orb locked up tightly inside of the castle. Looke was not about to go back to her King empty-handed. In order to get the Orb, and take it back to her master, she needed to get close to the king. The Angel spent many day's and night's in the land of Sparren. So many that she could have drawn a map of the land in the dirt for some traveler. In spending so much time in Sparren, she got closer and closer to the king. Finally, he fell in love with her, and declared for their marriage. Looke went on with the serade, knowing that it would pay off in the end. As tradition in the land of Sparren, the night before the ceremony, the two were to sleep in the same room. It was that night, that Looke slayed the man in his sleep, and took the Orb, fleeing the land. What the Elves hadn't known was that the Orb of Ophalius doubled as a prophecy that her master needed to hear.
At this same time, Iliee, a Dark Angel that also belonged to Azerath was facing his defeat. He had always hated the pure angels of Azerath, with their white wings, and always helping people in need, when in turn he got ignored and pushed back, because he had black feathers. Now, when Looke left, the king was vunerable, his personal bodyguard gone. He took his chances, and snuck into the Kings chambers when he was sleeping. Looking over him with the cruelest of smiles, he woke the King, and then slayed him, stabing him through the heart with his own sword. Of course, the scream from the King brought attention, and Iliee had no time to get out. Now, he was facing the exilation for what he was doing. Exiled out into the Forest of Despair.
Looke left Sparren that night, to make sure that others wouldnt' find out her actions. She traveled on through the night, looking for somewhere to rest, after traveling for so long her feet where tired, and she was tired, and dehydrated. It wasn't untill the next day when she cam upon the edge of the forest, of course the Forest of Despair. She didn't take any thought to entering in, and she of course found a stream laying inside of the trees. Instantly, she shed her clothing, and jumped in for a swim, feeling the cold water refreshing against her skin. After her refreshing swim, she gathered herself some fruit, and had her fill to eat. Afterwards, she decided to rest her weary feet, and she sat herself under a tree. Soon..she had fallen asleep.
When she awoke, Looke found herself bougn and gaged, tied to a rock. The only thing around her was steaming gysers, and lova that flowed beneath her feet. Soon enough, Iliee made his pressence known. Now with all his rage, he planed to destory everything in sight, and enslave the races for his own means. Iliee had placed the illusion over the forest, that it was wonderful and full of life, as of such, Looke had been sinned since the first drop of water touched her skin. She had no hope with that, bound or not bound, she had to stay with him now that the water had sined her. The Angel would no longer be a part of normal life, and was forced to live with Iliee in his volcanic home that he had made for himself. At first she was very resentful, and did not a thing that he asked her to. She was not social, and stayed as far away from the other demons, and people as she could, but Iliee was getting closer and closer to her the entire time. It was merely a year before Iliee finally managed to get Looke to fall in love with him, and pledge that she would do anything in return for his love. This was the only lead that he needed.
He tricked her, and forced her to do his bidding, the Angel turning on everything, and everyone around her. She killed mercilessly to please her love, and did anything that he asked of her. She gained a larger and larger bloodlust, and was begining to get a bit more crazy with every kill that she had made. The sword that she held in her hand, captured all the souls of her victims, and seemed to threaten to drive her insane. After about six months of the killing cerade, it stopped for a while, and Iliee settled down with Looke. He had someone perform the joining ritual, and they were bonded together. Looke had a child, soon after. They raised the child together, and Looke was convinced that Iliee had changed from his killing spree way's, to being a gold hearted father. It was quite some time, before Iliee showed her his real plan.
Their daughter, Mentalia was 18, when Iliee took up the trade again. She was no longer needed to gain Looke's trust again, and he needed to get rid of her. Once again, he tricked the Angel into doing the killing for him, and she destoryed with so much force that everything was wiped out of her life. She no longer had a daughter, her parents were dead, any friends she had were dead, and Iliee had ordered her to kill certain people in Azerath. She was on the brink of shattering into insanity when she stopped herself. His spell of trickery, and seducing was over for her, and she had just realized what it was that he had been doing. Her rage built up with every soul that cried out to her from her sword, and she approached Iliee. They faced eathother as enemies this time, each on the opposite side of the battle feild. Looke swore to kill the heartless demon if it was the last thing she ever did. The battle went on for three days and four nights, before a battle wounded Looke took her fall. She rushed at Iliee with all her speed, ready to strike him on the head with her sword. Iliee wasn't scathed at all from the long battle, and was too quick for her. He took on quick thrust, and his sword was sent through her chest, poking out her back. Looke fell to the ground, instantly dead, and the Orb that she carried with her, hidden all this time, shattered.
Iliee rose to great power when the Angel died, taking in the power that she was feeding him from her death. He was overjoyed, and brought with him the Darkness Era, that swept over all of the land, and on to Azerath. He destoryed Azerath, making the land a hot bubbling volcanic wasteland, with no form of life on it what-so-ever. He was cruel and heartless, killing anything that stood in his way, and keeping anything that wanted to serve him in his law of ruling. The Darkness Era lasted for twenty long years, with nothing but loneliness, and shattered dreams. At the end of the twenith year, Iliee could tell his power was weakening, and he needed some way to carry himself on. He turned to the only person he knew would have a grudge against Looke, Mentalia, his slayed daughter. With his dark powers of necromancy, he brought her back, though she now had power. He gave her the distinct memory of her mother killing her, and left her with her name. The last day of the twentith year, Iliee was disintegrated, his body falling into ash, and blowing away in the wind.
It wasn't untill 15 years later, that we begin Altia's life...
Altia was brought into the world in a large family. She had seven sisters, and four brothers, and she was yet the youngest of the family. She was always the butt end of jokes, as she didn't look anything like her beautiful sisters, or her tall brothers. She had the long silver hair of an Angel, and she had the amythest eye's like a gem. Upon her birth, she was given a gift that none of her siblings had, and that was the choice to have an adjacent form, that of an animal. Her father assured her that it was natural, and that he had been given the same gift. She chose the path of the wolf, which was the path of her already deceased mother. It wasn't untill she was 14 that she had choosen the path of the wolf, and she knew that she was different from the rest of her family. Getting up her courage, she left her home, to go exploring and to find her own life, something that she knew she needed to do.
She stumbled and walked, and traveled for a very long time. She would stop at small villages, eat and get rested, and then she would be on her way in the morning. It was about two years, before she actully found herself getting somewhere. She had been traveling through a forest that was near the small Elven town of Spolage, and stopped by a stream to rest. It was inside the stream, that she saw a stone that caught her eye. Reaching in, she took out the large smooth white rock, and looked it over in her hand. On the front, scribbled out in careful blue letters was her name, each letter glowing as she looked at it. Startled by the find, she dropped the rock into the grass, as a wind blew by her ear. From the leaves of the tree's, she started to hear voices, and curious, she lent an ear to listen.
"The Gem was born of hatred's fire. A portal swirled within it's depths. The clock will turn 35 And it will be too late. Don't look back now, the portal has opened, And through the portal he comes. His wrath will be tremendous And he will bring death upon us all."
Frightened, and confused about the message, she flee'd the forest, making sure to stow the stone somewhere safe. She stayed in the form of her wolf for quite some time, and went back to traveling, though not before she discovered a new power hidden within herself. She found herself falling into a dream when she was sleeping one night. Falling...falling...falling into a black hole. Her feet touched the ground, on what seemed to be glass, and as her feet touched it, it ripple a plae blue light like water. The Dream Realm had called her, and she was now "meditating". She was taken to a place, that seemed to be dangling in the sky, as a mass of land. For some reason...she knew this place, Azerath, and she knew this was where she belonged. Upon entering Azerath, she was greated with great honors, and was seated with Lady Amantha, the foreteller of Azerath. She told Altia of her destiny to walk the Dream Realm, and of it being the only link to her home. She accepted her fate, and was given the name of Dreamwalker, an eternal burden that allowed her to always walk the Dream Realm, whenever she pleased.
Lady Amantha told her of a wolf pack nearby, that was in need of help as well. When Altia awoke, she set out to search for the pack. On the other edge of the forest, there it was, the den that had the Alpha female, and only two other members. The Alpha female was hurt badly, and needed assistance in healing herself. For some odd reason, she knew that with being a Dreamwalker, came the ability to heal others. With the knowledge that she was able to help, she healed the femme. She was asked to join, and Altia accepted, soon learning that the Alpha female was indeed a Goddess. The wolves in this pack were blessed with wings, though she had none. For helping her, the Goddess blessed Altia with great white wings to match her white pelt. Altia soon gained the pack's trust, and was moved up to Beta female. As more people joined the pack, they learned that they all shared at least one thing, and that was they all had a human form as well. She felt very comfortable and at home with the people here, passing between her human and her wolven forms appropriatly. She stayed with the pack for qutie some time, moving onto her third year there. When she turned 18, she felt slightly confused at the visions taht she was getting in the Dream Realm. That riddle that she had heard three years ago in the forest was repeating itself over and over in her mind. Frightened once again, she fled the wolf pack, to find her own life.
It was merely a year before she came back, a bit beaten and bedragled. Her newly found brother before she left, Kiro Shadow, came to see if she was alright. Of course, she nodded her head, and looked up at him, though she had no emotion. She informed him that her soul had been stolen when she was visitng the Dream Realm, and he immediatly knew who it was. He informed her of the Reaper, and declared that she take him to the Dream Realm. She took him there, and in a sinch, he defeated the Reaper, and got her soul back. She was so thankful, Altia was now in her brother's debt. The night after the Reaper had been defeated, Iliee appeared in the Dream Realm in front of Altia. He spoke of how bravely Kiro had fought, and how dissappointed he was in her that she did nothing but stood by and watched. Waking up, she was perplexed about the dream, but a new wolf had come to the pack. His name was Trent, and she was quick to show him around. It took merely a month before she fell in love with him, and he fell in love with her. They got married two months after.
9 months later, she had herself two wonderful twin boy's. Naming them Kyle, and Drake. Trent told her he was a horrible husband, and a terrible father for not telling her he already had two children and now had four. He left the pack, though Altia was not aware of any of this, because she had passed out shortly after having the children. When she awoke to find her husband gone, she held herself together, only for the sake of ehr growing children. They were already five years old by the time Trent had come back with his other two children, a girl naemd Audry-Lynn, and a boy named Chris. They instantly took to her, but she only stayed with them for maybe a month before Trent started to show signs of change. He wasn't as caring as he had been with her before. He had turned hostile, and he was rough with the children. He was quick to yell, and assume the worst from his family. For fear of what she would do to him, and for fear of what he would do to her and the children, she took Drake and Kyle, and fled once more from the wolf pack, this time for a longer period of time.
She knew that Trent would go looking for her, so she stayed in the last place that he would ever look. A band of ninja's discovered her and her children hidding in the forest, and they took them in. They gave her the autumn leaf kimono after she had healed some of their injured when they came back from their missions. Her brother Kiro had been a shinobi, and quite trained on it. Drake and Kyle had the time of their lives training and learning martial arts, but they would always ask their mother when they were going to see everyone. She took her time, and gathered up her powers, making herself stronger mentally, and physically. She learned to control her emotions, and to keep people from reading her like an open book.
It was 9 years before she made her pressence known to the people that she loved. The first place she made herself known to, was the sight of the wolven terra, the den. There was no one there, and the place seemed deserted, before Trent appeared out of no where. She spoke with him, and showed him that the children were alright, and they wernt to see him and gave him hugs, and kisses. When they went off to go play some more, Altia sat down with Trent, and they started to talk about what had happened between them. Neither of them knew what it was that had left, but something wasn't there any more. She told him why she had left, for fear of herself, of what she might do, of what might of happened. He told her that he was getting married in two years. With a fresh pain in her side, she took her children, and left to her brother, Kiro's village. Just like the one she had been in before, it was a ninja village.
There she met Riddle, a man whom was extremely skilled in fighting. Because of her long absence from the pack, she had forgotten how to use many weapons, and asked for his help in the feild of a whip. He taught her, but the time that they had spent together seemed a bit too much for her to take. She felt obligated to stay with him, but knew that her fever catching boys needed her aid. Riddle asked her what was troubling her, and she told him about her boys catching fever. He knew how to heal, and so he asked to see them. Taking him to them, he announced that they had been cursed, not having only fever. He used all of his energy to save their lives, passing out shortly afterwards. Altia stayed by his side, untill he woke up with her sleeping next to him. The spent the next few days together, getting still closer, and falling in love. Riddle left the village then, going on a quest for Altia's brother, Kiro Hoto. He didnt com back...She waited for three months, and still no return of her love.
With a broken heart, she went back to the wolf pack, and spoke with Mooney there. It seemed that the both of them were having hard times with their hearts, but they were to live on. Mentalia finally found Altia, and put the same curse on her as she had put on her sons. This time, Riddle was not there to help, and Altia was crushed down and down. Mooney took her with her, and they died side by side, hand in hand. The next day, Mooney was ressurected, and so Altia allowed herself to be ressurected by Mooney herself. Riddle found her, but by some freak accident he had aged himself twice as fast as a normal man. He was now about 60 years old, and it showed on him. He took her to a place, where he knew that she would be safe, the evil empire. She was totally out of her mind by the time Riddle swept her off of her feet, and when he said he needed to "test" her, something in her mind snapped. This Riddle was not the Riddle she fell in love with, it was a horrible evil monster. He tested her ability to fight against some creation of a gaint hamster. That was all that Altia needed, an innocent animal for her to kill. Her entire figure snapped under itself, and in it's place, came a black-hearted, black veiled individual.
She became more powerful, and stayed with Riddle in the Evil Empire. He declared her his wife, and the Empress of the Empire, for every great Emperor, needs an equally great Empress. After a while, Riddle went away again, and she visited the Wolf pack again, just for kicks and giggles. Trent was there this time, and she seemed to talk to him for a while. Her two sons, now 20 years old each appeared, Drake with his new invention. He started to electricute his mother with extreme power, knowing now that the only way to stop this horrid beast, was to kill it. Trent stepped in the middle, and cut off Drakes power, but putting his own instead of it, killing Altia in an instant.
When she was ressurected, for the third time, it was by a man with the name of Lord Kurihoto. When she was ressurected, she had no memory of anything, except for what Kurihoto had put in her mind, that she was his wife. He placed a circlet of blue crystal on her forehead, and he had a blue crystal hanging around his neck, the only way that he had of controling her mind. He sucked energy from her every now and then, and after a while she realized what he had done. With all of her built up rage, she was drove insane with a bloodlust to destory everything around her, and that is exactly what she did. In her own insanity, she destoryed Kurihoto, and herself in the process along with everything around her.
The good inside of her heart ressurected itself, and now she is back and more confident then ever. She's got a harder shell now, and can no longer be read like a book.
