I just watched an Indian Movie called "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (Something Happens in the Heart?) and one of the main characters name is Anjali. I've decided that's going on my girl list. So now I have two: Juliana and Anjali. My boy list is still bigger, but whatever. I actually think that I'm going to take Ethan off of that list so it is now Owen, Ian, and Liam. Okay, it's not bigger by much. Although the names Derek and Donavon are growing on me. I think my mother would disapprove of both "D" names. I really don't want to name my child something ridiculous like some stars. Honestly, some of those names, I would change once I grew up. That or I would go by my middle name if it was better than my first. Sadly, I think most of them take pride in their names. I suppose I might to if I was the child of a star. People probably wouldn't make fun of me just because I was a star's child. TO the parents of these children, I can't help but wonder what they were on or what they were thinking when they named them. One sounded like they were naming a dog, except it was definitely their human child. Ai ya!

Anyways here are the meanings of the names that I like.
Boys
Owen-> Desire Born (That's intense name)
Ian->God is Gracious (eh?)
Liam-> Strong-willed Warrior
Derek->People Ruler
Donavon-> Brown Black (what?! It sounds way too regal to just be colors!)
Ethan-> Firm, Strong (Hmmm, maybe Ethan will take over Ian's sopt on the list)

Girls
Juliana-> Downy (?)
Anjali-> Tribute

While I was looking up the meaning of Juliana, I discovered that it is the feminine form of Julian. Julian is a very good name too. I might add it to my boy list.
