It's going to happen. With every two seconds, the watch mocks us. "Mor-tal. Mor-tal. Mor-tal." But it's okay. Mortality is a good thing. Immortality is what would kill us. Life would not be life. So mortality is good. Maybe the watch tries to encourage us and all the while us blind cynics read something bad out of it.
