"WHAT!?" exclaimed the surprised brothers.
"Wait. What do you mean we're the descendants?" asks Matthew.
Bryan then interrupts. "Uh, Matthew. What time is it?"
Matthew looks at his wristwatch. "It's, uh...oh, crap! It's 7:30! We're gonna be late for school!"
"Ah, um, Risa. We gotta leave. We gotta go to school. Sorry, Risa. Can you explain it to us later?"
"Uh, okay," says Risa.
Bryan and Matthew run to their rooms. After some time, they come out from their rooms.
"See ya later, Risa."
"Sorry."
"Uh, take care," says Risa as Bryan and Matthew run out the. "Oh, dear. What do I do now?"
Bryan and Matthew run towards school.
"Oh, man. I hope we aren't late," says Bryan.
"My teacher'll be ticked off if I'm late," says Matthew.
"Yeah, mine too," replies Bryan.
"I'll see ya after school."
"Okay."
The brothers run into the school and as their separate ways. Hours go by as school comes to an end. All the students start to leave school, including Bryan and Matthew.
"Man, can't believe I wasn't late," says the exhausted Matthew.
"You're the lucky one. I tripped on the stair and twisted my ankle I tried to limp to class, but somebody crashed into me at the top of the stairs. They helped me to class, but I was late.
"Ouch. Did you get scolded?"
"No, but he said that if I try to rush to school again, what happened today might happen again."
Oh. So are you okay now?"
"Yeah. I'm fine. Oh yeah. We gotta get hurry home."
"Oh, right. C'mon."
Bryan and Matthew run and then arrive at their house.
Risa greets them as they enter the house. "Welcome back home you two."
"Uh, hi. Sorry about this morning. We were gonna be late, but i guess we should have told you before we let. Sorry," apologizes Bryan.
"Yeah. Sorry, Risa."
"I-it's fine. Don't worry."
"Sorry again, Risa. We gotta leave again," says Bryan.
"Oh? Where are you going?" asks Risa.
"We're gonna go back to school to train for our classes," replies Matthew.
"Oh, okay."
"Um, Risa. If it isn't too much to ask, do you want to go with us?" asks Bryan.
"Huh?"
"Well, we just don't want you to be lonely and bored here."
"And we feel bad about this morning. Plus, since you came from another world, I don't see how you can not be bored here."
"Yeah. SO, do you want to go with us?" asks Bryan.
"Well, I don't want to be a distraction."
"Oh, don't worry. I fact, you can help us. So, you wanna go?"
"Uh, we're not forcing you to go," says Bryan.
"Oh, no. It's alright. I'll gladly go with you," says Risa.
"Alright. But let us get changed first."
"Yeah. Hold on."
"Okay."
Bryan and Matthew go to different rooms close the doors behind them. Risa walks around as she waits. She then hears a door open. She looks back and sees Bryan come out of one of the rooms.
"Okay. DOne."
"Um, Bryan. May I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"The classes Matthew was talking about, what are they?"
"Oh, well. We have these classes that teach martial arts. They teach us how to fight."
"What? Fight!?" asks the surprised Risa.
"Ah, well, more like self defense."
"Oh, okay."
"There are three classes. There is aikido, kendo, and tae kwon do. Aikido is the Japanese are of holds and circular movements. It helps teach you how to use you opponent's strength and weight to you advantage. Kendo is another Japanese art. It is swordplay. But inste-"
"Bryan, where's my shinai?" interrupts Matthew.
"Look under your bed," replies Bryan.
Matthew looks underneath his bed."Ah, found it. Crap, so...far," says Matthew as he tries to reach for his shinai. "Ah, got it. Now for my clothes." He then starts to change his clothes.
"Anyways, instead of using a real sword, bamboo swords are used."
"You mean like the thing Matthew was lokking for."
"Right. And lastly, tae kwon do. It's the Korean art of sharp quich blows using you hands and feet. Matthew and I both take classes. I take tae kwon do and aikido. Matthew takes kendo. In addition to classes, there are clubs. A club is where a group of people meet others people with the smae interest and meet regularly to do club actvities and stuff."
"I see," says Risa.
"Hey, maybe you drop by when Matthew and I have club activities."
"Okay. I'd be happy to."
"Alright."
Matthew finishes changing and joins Bryan and Risa. "Alright. I'm finally finished. Let's go."
"Yeah," says Bryan.
"And Risa."
"Yes."
"You may think we're normal brothers, but after out training, you're gonna think we're anything .Okay. Let's go."
"Right."
Risa looks at the excited brothers. She then smiles and chuckles.
Risa, Bryan and Matthew leave their house and begin going towards a school.
