Jeff gently held her hand in his from the beginning of the night to the morning, sometimes letting go but then always holding on again. It didn't matter where they were, only that they both were there. <br> <center> smile heart smile </center> <br> <br> In the morning when they were ready, he helped her up and they walked along the path, she leaned against his and his arm lay around her shoulders. Silence, blissful silence surrounded them untill her soft voice broke it. "Why did you do it? That day..." <br>"You already know." He whispered to her, his lips gently grazing her neck. <br> <center> redface </center> <br> <br> She nodded. They got to the cliff and his deep blue eyes gazed into her brown ones. "I'll let you go, but I'm coming with you." He told her. "So come on, let's take a trip." He jumped. <br> <center> arrow </center> <br> <br> "I'm coming with you." She followed him, feeling the wind under her, closing her eyes and knowing that soon she would be with Jeff forever. But that ledge... She hit the ledge. She knew she wasn't dead, she wasn't with him. <br> <center> ... </center> <br> <br> And she cried, but not because of the pain going through her body from the hit. &i&Why?&/i& She thought, her tears staining the dry ground. What terrible monster hadn't let her join him? "I love you..." She whispered, although she knew he could not hear her. <br> <center> "I love you." </center> <br> <br>And so he died, she lived.
