This morning I was riding my bike. Not for a real important reason, just for the sake of riding and being outside on a nice day. Well, I ride over some train tracks and my front tire wedges itself into the slots by the actual metal tracks. I fall. So who stops and asks me if I'm alright? .... No one. There were plenty of people driving by and watching me suffer like some animal on the other side of a glass and metal wall. Humanity's morals are slowly and steadily deteriorating. I swear it to you.
The people of this Earth are losing themselves to selfish whims. The same with some people on this site. I have seen people say "Oh, yeah. I always think that giving to the poor is a good and nice thing to do." And what do they do? Lie through their ******** teeth!! I hate people! Well, I guess some of us have something in common. We both hate me. xd
Anyway, on another side. Have you ever riden in a car and just looked at the lights in a city, burning brightly. I have. But I don't see beauty in it. I look and I see disaster. Long ago the candles, stars and moon did plenty of the work that the lights do today. It's because of those stupid night-blind people who can't see two inches in front of their nose in the dark... even OUTSIDE! We have had power outages in my house before, and I was standing in the kitchen when it happened. The first thing on my mind was "Ohmigod, I'm gonna die."
Then I practically strangled myself because I realized how dependant I had become to electricity. We take it for advantage everyday. Without it, we'd all be dead. I mean, we use it for everything! And I mean EVERYTHING! Think about this. What keeps the prison doors closed and/or locked? Electricity. What keeps our food cold or hot? Electricity. In some houses, what keps your water running through the faucet? Electricity!
Our ancestors might or might not be smiling down on us from heaven. We have become strong, but if someone were to take away our power, we would be defenseless.
It even showed it in War of the Worlds. I don't know about you, but that movie raised some pretty good points. The fact is, some of that stuff could actually happen. You might think I'm a bit paranoid, and I probably am. I wouldn't know. I'm just stating my opinion. Just something to think about.
