~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~~~ THIS STORY IS ABOUT LOVE
There was a boy... A very strange enchanted boy. They say he wandered very far Very far... Over land and sea. A little shy and sad of eye But very wise was he.
And then one day One magic day he passed my way. And while we spoke of many things, Fools and Kings This he said to me...
“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~~~ PROLOGUE
Spain
The theater burned, becoming the victim of the very fires that put it into ruin, being the only dying witness of what was happening this day. This very tragedy of a wrong doing. The curtains ablaze, the glass braking uncontrollably into shards, and the hear of people screaming for their lives that were by secret but prosper. These secret ones, who were impaled, slaughtered and burned, were of the very kind that people thought was a myth. Vampires. And they were the actors, the orchestra, the families who lived in this very place with the legacy who created this theater of beauty, the ones who wished to live their damned lives into peace with the humans. And this was their peace treaty. It was born of the Cruz Legacy. But that peace is now burning away with the stench of wood, ash, flesh and blood, the crashes echoing with the screams of terror. Terror. “Miho, you must leave!” cried a woman. A young boy at the age of six clung to his mother tightly while his father stayed behind them to guard their backs. “No Mama!” the child cried back, desperately running under the arm of Mother. The boy had hair of silver with watered eyes of scarlet that shed tears with fear of the monster who was killing everyone. “Soma, listen to your mother!” Yelled the father, afraid for his son. “And don’t look back!” Soma, however, did look back as the sparks of fire nearly licked at his pale cheek. His eyes widened when he looked over his shoulder, a lost breath of complete horror coming out of him. He saw one of the actors, who was trying to protect himself, suddenly split in half by what seemed like a black aura that ripped him apart. Gurgling out a scream, the vampire was thrown aside into the fire to burn in the inferno like the rest. Soma saw the figure, one who looked human? And with long black hair. A... He wasn’t able to see who it was, he didn’t get a great look once his mother turned him around and away from his trance in fear, turning him towards the corner of the back of the theater. There was a door there, and it was their escape that was suddenly futile, the young boy and his parents seeing the back door to be ablaze. Soma covered his mouth and gagged sickly and the horrible stench of something burning from the upper stages where the ropes and lights would be directed. They, too, perished. Parts of the theater collapsed and the father pulled his family back to get away from the now completely blocked exit. But there was another way. Soma’s father looked back with some fear, but with determination to protect his family until the end if this was his fate. The grown vampire suddenly stopped from the running of another way and Soma panicked. “Father!” Soma yelled out, reaching for him. “Why are you stopping?! Come back!!” was he stupid? “Wait!” His mother suddenly held him tight against her as he reached for his father desperately. The father looked backed with a pained expression then came back to his wife, only to give her a passionate kisses if it would be his last. “My amor, go.” he said with a hurried voice as he gazed to her lovingly. Soma looked up to his parents, starting to tear up again and he grabbed at his father’s waste. The man looked down then pulled him off, kissing his forehead then brought him back to his mother’s arms. “Be strong, go.. Go!” Soma and the mother suddenly went running at the sound of gunshots, and Soma screamed when he looked back and saw his father getting shot by a suddenly flash of white light that looked like a shooting star going right through him. His father suddenly transformed into that of the guardian, a frm which vampires took when in need to defend themselves, but he was suddenly slammed by the attacker, their power obviously greater than that, however actually took some great hits as the two of them fought each other fiercely like animals. “Soma, miho...” The mother turned him away, her eyes crying waterfalls with him as they went to the left of the theater, actually reentering back into the stage and the mother opened the trap door. “Please, there’s a passage way where you can escape and be in the ally outside of here! Go!” Soma grabbed at his mother’s arm once she placed him inside. The boy cried louder. “No Mama!” “Please, miho. I love you. Everything will be alright. Be good, be good!” she kissed his cheek, tears falling but Soma wrapped his arms around her neck and the theater continued to fall, everything crashing. “Mama!” Soma cried out. “Come with me, we can go!” But the mother smiled to him and a gunshot suddenly rang, making the mother suddenly slam down the door and Soma was blocked off. “NO!! MAMA!! PAPA!! DON’T LEAVE ME!!” he screamed, opening it up again only slightly but he froze, every life leaving him as he saw it. There stood the hunter... a woman, shooting three bullets through the mother’s heart without any sign of mercy, and the body fell to the wood like a rock. Long black hair...
A woman, a devil. The Devil in a woman’s body.
Soma’s wide, lifeless eyes stayed staring at his dead mother on the floor, and the movement ahead made him look up to only see those golden eyes that pierced pure fear through him, the red in those pupils digging a thick nail through his chest and stabbing through the heart he once had just a few moments ago. He stared face to face with the devil, the woman moving not one inch, she only stared him down with that black aura wandering about her threateningly. Soma notice it stiffen, and he screamed out when it came at him as warning that he fell back with the door closing, his back slamming onto the stone ground along with his head.
He cried, not getting up and he still cried because he didn’t do anything to save his mom.
“Mama...Mama...” And the moment he sleeps, he’ll wake up forever dead, never having what was once human in him. Because the moment he wakes up, Soma will find his vengeance.
