Chapter 3. Okay, so I lied about the days. You try writing.
Chapter 3

"So, you ready to go yet,or are you still on that same problem?" Angie asked Kimmi, starting to get impatient. She knew math was not one of Kimmi's strongpoints, but felt that Kimmi should be able to at least finish one question in ten minutes, let alone the entire paper. Kimmi had been sitting there for two hours working on her one piece of homework while Angie, who didn't have the study Kimmi had today because of band class, had finished fifteen minutes ago.

"Almost, don't rush me!" Kimmi snapped back, almost as impatient as Angie that she had not finished her homework yet. "Okay, done," Kimmi said triumphantly, putting her paper into her bag for school tomorrow.

"Aright-y, then. Let's get going," Angie said. She woke her mom up from the afternoon nap she usually took and told her they were leaving.

"What, you were still here? I thought you had already left a while ago," Diana said sleepily.

"Kimmi had trouble on her math homework," Angie told her mom.

"Well, be back by nine, okay hon," Diana told Angie.

"Okay, see ya," Angie said walking out of the room, her mom flopping back over in bed. The two girls ran out of the house to the bus stop and waited for the bus to come and take them to the mall.

As the two girls boarded the bus, they noticed the familiar face seated inthe back right seat. "Oh, man," Kimmi and Angie said together, "what's Carrie doing on the bus?" Kimmi finished.

"Yeah, I thought she had her own car," Angie added.

"Ew, look who just blew on to the bus," Carrie said to her group of friends, "its the two vampires!" This crack got all of the girls and some of the other passengers laughing. Even if they didn't know Kimmi or Angie, they could see by the way they dressed that the term "vampire" fit them perfectly, with their entirely black outfits, black hair, smudged, black eyeliner, and black lipstick.

"Hey, Ange. What's up with the talking poodle in the back of the bus? Oh, wait. That's just Carrie. I thought she looked a little to ugly to be a dog," Kimmi said calmly to Angie.

Truth be told, Carrie did look a bit like a poodle, with her puffy, curly hair and long, thin face. The big, pink bow perched on the top of her head didn't help, either.

"What was that? Hey girls, anyone know what the easy, little tramp said?" Carrie said casting a glance at Kimmi, who was now seated in a seat inthe middle of the bus.

"What'd you call me?" Kimmi shot back. A lot of people called her a tramp because of her tiny frame and big chest, and it always got on her nerves.

"You heard me," Carrie said cooly, "and you know, your boyfriend only likes you for you chest, right?"

This hit a sore spot for Kimmi. Her last boyfriend, who she had been going out with for six months, had only gone out with her for her body, and she had dumped him for that same reason because he was getting too toucht-feely for her tastes.

Kimmi looked away from Carrie's satisfied face, looking as if she was about to cry. Just as Carrie was settling back down into her seat, Angie piped up, "You know Kimmi, You're right. Carries not a poodle, she's a big, concieted blowfish!" This rare occurance of Angie actually talking caught Carrie off guard. Before she had a chance to say anything back, Angie and Kimmi had run off of the bus into the mall and out of earshot of Carrie and the rest of her group.

Okay, so that was Chapter 3. It might have been a little boring, but the action will be coming soon. Chapter 4 should be on display by Friday, June 27th.
