This is something I've come to realize (really it was a while ago I wrote this but...) after finishing a book called Mistborn: the Final Empire. and I'd like to fill people in on it.
1. Someone shoulw never make a promise they should not be able to keep, a promise broken leads to mistrust. Mistrust leads to hating the person. And if someone broke a promise to you please realize you don't know why the person did that. They might have had a good reason behind it. Some reasons aren't that good but it is a reason. And keep an open mind (don't let it get clouded by anger!!!) it may be for the best
2. No one is invincible. Don't make yourself. Life is to be lived like tomorrow may be your last day. Enjoy every minute you have. Love everyone you know, whether they deserve it or not. If you think about it in someway that person might just deserve it. If it is someone you hate they are something you vent all your anger out on. Now think if you kept all that anger inside you, you might ler it out on the people you love. Which in the end pushes them away. Don't convince someone your invincible. Because in the end your not. Everyone has something they care for, everyone has a weakness. Some people
s weaknesses are just harder to see.
3. Don't lie to those around you. If you tell the truth. They'll tell the truth. In which there will be no need for suspicion. And yes I understand somethings need to be hidden, but not everything. And true somethings a person hides wil hurt others. If they truly are your friends then they will understand and accept. If you hide everything then, in your most time of need, no one will be there.
4. Don't ever. EVER, try to push someone away. Fate has a way of sending people guaridian angels in disguise some of the time, that person you just pushed away was your secreat hider... someone you can vent things through. Treat everyeone.... not as you would want to be treated but... treat them as if... they were the last person you'll ever talk to. They just might be.
5. Everyone needs soemthing to live for. Or rather someone. It has been proven to me time and time again through boooks (yes that says books), people with something or someone to live and fight for ALWAYS end up living. Just like an animal trapped in a corner is gunna fight like hell to get lose so find someone precious to you. It doesn't have to be a lover. It can be a friend, and just remember that they'll always be there for you. Wethor you want them there... or not
