Okay. me I've been doing urban dance styles ever sense I was in middle school. I do other exotic dance styles like swing and waltz. but not as much as urban. He's a guide to all the urban dance styles.

~*~BREAK DANCE~*~

what can I say? an instance classic! who hasn't even heard of the break dance movement? although it's not as big as it was back in the 70s and 80s. The style is very hard to do when pulling off the big moves. but the structure of the styles is pretty easy. *EXAMPLE*

~*~POPPING~*~

once again, instance classic. how ever. this one been doing alot evolving through out the years. absolutely fun to watch someone pull off a wave or do the robot. Popping is as hard as it is cool because you body has to literary flow with it to make the illusions. there are 4 branches of popping.
POPPING:Classic moves like moon walk and robot
TUTTING:A very unique one. this one consist of mostly symetrical arm movement
WAVING:self expanitory
liqiud:similar to waving but more loose and flowing

~*~LOCKING~*~

A very popular one. locking has branch off disco dancing back in the 70's. one of my favorites. it's fast paced and you can really have fun with it like that. it's sort you like popping except there's alot more energy involved. *EXAMPLE*

~*~HOUSE~*~

this one is really unique one. it consists alot of energy and was formed from chicago. very fast pace. don't know much about it but I would definitely like to learn more about this style.*EXAMPLE*

~*~KRUMP~*~

I got the perfect definition for this: PISSED OFF BLACK GUYS! aparrently this is suppose to be the dance style to beat all styles. but seriously, it just looks like kind of dumb. although some of the moves are cool. rap music is usually played with this kind of dance.*EXAMPLE*

~*~PUNKING/WHACKING~*~

okay this is suppose to be a girl's dance style. but there are some guys you do this one too. it's pretty much doing moves that make you look cute and sexy. the example explains it all! *EXAMPLE*

~*~UPROCK~*~

this one is an old one. Uprocking is basically fighting while dancing. it branches one of the techniques used in breakdancing called toprock and downrock. once again very fun and it's really EASY TO DO! anybody can do it! but there's one rule. DO NOT HIT ANY ONE! *EXAMPLE*

~*~C-WALK~*~

a.k.a the crip walk. another gansta dance. it's pretty much a fancy way to walk. consist of mostly movement of the feet. there were rumors the that C-walkers tend to spell out letters using their feet (mainly the word blood and death)
