MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAA!!! O_O I just got back from a trip with a friend to San Francisco! It was so much fun!!!! We went to Japan town and I think that I had the most fun there!! It was SO much better than I'd expected it to be! I have never been to Japan, but it felt like I was in Japan when I was there. I was in the mall for almost the whole time I was there though! There must have been about ten anime/manga shops in ONE mall! It was so funny! They had at least a whole rack of anime stuff even in the shops that were NOT anime or manga shops! It was also really cool because they had a manga cafe. It was this BIG room FILLLLED with lots of manga and there were black leather comfy chairs you could sit in and read! It was really awesome. If only I could read Japanese characters. Nyaaaaaa!In just about every store there were also tons of Sanrio (Hello Kitty) items in them! Japan town is NOTHING like China town! The people in Japan town are much more polite and everything there is VERY clean. Freakishly clean actually. sweatdrop Anyway, I had a lot of fun and I bought five anime posters, a Japanese fashion magazine, a Yu Yu Hakusho manga in Japanese, and some other little items. It was really interesting and cool there and I hope that I get to go there again someday! heart heart If you are every in San Francisco and you are into Japanese and/or anime then I recommend that you go there! Escpecially if you are into any animes that have not come out in the USA yet. They had a lot of merchandise for animes that haven't been released here yet. xd I also would suggest that you bring a lot of money so that you can buy a lot of Japanese crap! They also had this awesome dollar store type of place called Ichi Ban Kan and they had SO much cheap stuff in there... (It's kind of like a convienience store) They had random Cowboy Bebop mangas for three dollars on one of the shelves where they had food. It was UBER. 4laugh
