Short Bio: Aun'Va grew up in the sole tribe of the Shas'La, totaling well over 200,000 people. He spent centuries training until he earned the highest honor a warrior could receive in his tribe, the coveted power armor of the Shas'La. With it he became on of the few elite warriors, since it enhanced all of he senses, abilities, and strength. And he would need it soon enough.

User ImageWhen he was about 800 years old, an ork army numbering in the millions attacked the unprepared tribe. The orks were attempting to take over every square inch of the of the major land mass they shared with the Shas'La (along with other tribes) in the effort to expand their territory. While initially the Shas'La were surprised, they quickly readied their arms. The war lasted for several week, with the Shas'La slowly dwindling each day under the nonstop waves of orks. Aun'Va was piloting one of the few ancient mechas know as a Dreadnought, a machine that was well over a millennia old, back near the beginning of Shas'La history. With the Dreadnought, Aun'Va tore through the hordes of greenskins. Aun'Va successful finish driving back the orks, but unfortunately when he looked over his once great tribe, he saw that he was the only one left.

Aun'Va became infuriated at himself for not being strong enough to save those that were once so precious to him. With his heart tainted with hate, he set off for the ork tribe that had attacked, his mind was lost other than the sole thought of revenge. Once at the tribe, he slaughtered everything in sight. He was outnumbered at least 1000 to 1 but he still managed to come out of it victorious. Only once his armor was black with blood, he came back to his senses and fell to his knees for the acts he had committed. He changed his name and vowed to do what he could to get stronger and to defend those he swore to protect. He spent a couple millennia wandering until he came upon the Kumiho Clan, a.k.a. the Dark Clan. In time he built his home, fought wars, and even lost his old tribal armor in combat, only to build a better one for himself later. Eventually, he was officially declared the Clan's leader. Although he didn't feel he deserved this privileged, he promised to do what he could to maintain order, at least until someone better is chosen. Over the past couple years, Zero has increase his mental capabilities to the point where he can use psychic power, which he uses to amplify the attack of his melee weapons.
Appearance: Zero is usually always in his power armor (as seen above). When not, the armor retracts into metal plates embedded in his body placed in his arms, legs, back, and neck. He has dark hair, green eyes, and his skin is pale from being encased in armor and is close to 8 feet tall, 9 feet when in armor.
Weapons and/or abilities: Zero has no magic so he relies on firearms and melee weapons, any of which he can build once he thinks it up, but this is what he prefers.
-Power Halberd: (as seen in picture) A long staff with a massive blade on the end. A power pack in the staff sends strong electrical currents into the blade for an added punch. At will, Zero can focus his own psychic energy through the halberd that can send out visible slashwaves when swung, increase it's range.
-Storm Bolter: (as seen in picture) A large caliber, rapid fire weapon that is mounted on the wrist. It fires high explosive, armor piecing rounds. Zero carries extra ammo for it because it will quickly go through a clip if constantly used.
-Variant grenades: A finite supply of grenades that can be deployed at the armor's hip. These grenades can be changed to fragmentation, smoke, ice, napalm, gas, EMP, or concussion with a flip of a switch.
-Holocaust: The closest thing Zero has to magic. After saying a chant to get him into the right mind set, Zero uses a mixture of his own psychic energy and rage to create a massive blast of light that will disintegrate everything in front of him for about a hundred yards, this power and range is increased with the rage of those that are fighting alongside him. After using the Holocaust, Zero will be no longer fit to fight do to the strain it has on his mind and body for about a days time.

Short Bio: Gabriel is a computer AI designed by Zero to help maintain and control ZERO Tower and the rest of the clan. He has access to all of the machines and weapons around the clan and uses them as an extension of himself. While most of the weapons have their own AIs to function, Gabriel can set the unit's AI on standby and function through it. Gabriel can be in multiple places at once, which makes it highly unlikely that he could ever be destroyed. Even if ZERO Tower is somehow lost, Gabriel will still exist with only a more limited function. He is probably the most intelligent thing in this world, and Zero knows and respects this. Zero trust Gabriel as another ally and would never abuse him like a tool. This is what prevents Gabriel from going rampant. He is not one you want to upset, for he has eyes everywhere in the clan...and some other clans as well.
Appearance: Gabriel appears as a angelic mech, sometimes appearing in a burst of feathers for a dramatic entrance.
Weapons and/or abilities: Since he has no physical form, Gabriel cannot use weapons in the normal matter. But he has access to all the machines and weapons in the clan, literally meaning that he can be a one-"man"-army.

Class: Dark Knight
Short Bio: Echo was built to serve as a military tactician and adviser during wartimes, but since the clan wars were no longer plaguing the continent, Echo's work had run slim. Instead, he was now serving as an off clan observer, making peaceful ties with carefully chosen clans and functioning as a their connection back to the Dark Clan. Echo has grown fond of the Fire Clan, and was usually stationed there when not back home. He is usually very calm, with a caring attitude of wanting to look over others. But when the time came, he was an always ready war machine, ready for any combat situation that can occur.
Appearance: Echo is a 7 ft, bulky looking mech. His rough-n-tough look isn't just for show either. His armor has a faded orange camo that works well in rocky and desert terrain, it's also dented and scratched from multiple battles. His head has one main camera and several sub cameras. His backpack contains his main powerpack, along with a few hidden extras.
Weapons and/or abilities: Echo has access to a wide varied of weapons, many that can be summoned and delivered in short notice. But at all times he carries a laser-sighted assault rifle, 8 tubed shoulder-mounted missile launcher, a 2 foot combat blade, and a wide array of grenades. Some of the tools built into his frame can also be used for makeshift weapons. There are a handful of other devices built into his frame, both lethal and non, that make the mech as self sufficient as it needs to be.

ZERO Tower Complex

ZERO Tower
Rising from the surrounding forest is ZERO Tower, home of the clan leader. It is also the weapons and technology manufacturing center of the territory. This obsidian and charcoal colored monolith it the tallest structure of the Dark Clan. As ironic as it may sound, this weapons plant was designed to serve as neutral ground between the clan and outsiders. Similar to Zero's armor, the tower nullifies any magic and harmful auras within or around the tower, making it the only area "safe" to roam freely for visitors.

There are many floors in the tower, each can only be reached by a single elevator shaft, designed to be closed off in case of infiltration. Also, instead of an actual elevator car, people are transported via a disk-shaped energy field that takes up the entire width of the cylindrical shaft. The energy lift can only be activated if you have been approved to use it by Zero, Echo, or the tower's AI, Gabriel.

There is one large entrance on the ground floor. When the tower is under attack, a large blast door will slide into place that can withstand a severe punishment before failing. The front entrance leads into a finely handcrafted lobby, filled with indoor plants, tiled marble floors, hand carved wood panels on most of the walls and support pillars. This high class exterior is to look appearing to welcomed guest, but it is just a facade to intruders since dozens of automated gun turrets are hidden behind the walls, ceiling, and floor. There are several feet between the lobby and the next floor, to muffle the sounds of the machinery that build Zero's drone army. This large area also houses all the built drones and store then when they are needed to defend the clan. This is not saying that the tower is the only place the drones are stored, and their true numbers are unimaginable. Guest are never allowed into the factory area.

Further up the tower are the living quarters. There are four floors of small, bunk bed rooms. There are about 48 rooms total, each room contains four beds with one bathroom. These rooms are for simple soldiers or for those that can't stand the high classed areas. Each floor has a gym, a living area, and a cafeteria-like area for the guest convenience.

The next level above the low class room are the living quarters for clan members. There are a couple dozen of these rooms, large enough for members to live comfortably and free to customize the space as they please. Just like the other areas, there is a living area that is connected to all the rooms, along with the dining area adjacent to that.

The next floor up was designed for clan leaders and other honored guest. There are 10 rooms, each lavishly filled with whatever someone could desire. Plush carpets and couches, hand crafted dressers and cabinets with gold leaf embedded into it, a bookshelf filled with various stories and information from around the world, a marble bathroom with hot tub and shower (along with what you would normally find), and a bedroom that was to die for. Each room was split into three main areas, the bedroom, bathroom, and a private living area. The living area is connected to both rooms and exited out into an even larger living area where all the guest could gather. A dining hall was connected to the main living area, where the guest could order and eat to there heart's desire. A shuttle bay is also connected to the main area just to shorten the trip if they fly to or from the base.

Above that is Loki's level with Zero's private area on top of that. They the largest living quarters, designed for the clan leader and his 2nd in command, and it is rare for anyone to see them. Loki's area is the only area that magic will work in the tower, for it has it's own shielding that blocks the anti-magic qualities of the tower. There are 2 rooms connected to a main living area. One room being Loki's personal room which no one gets to see, the other being for his pupils which is furnished in a simple way: a small closet, a bed, a footlocker and a restroom.

Zero's room is only accessible to Zero. Although it doesn't contain the splendor and glamor that the other rooms have, it is more functional for Zero's needs. A little over half the area is a mechanics workshop, which Zero uses to fine tune his weapons and armor. It is also where he designs new inventions and weapons.

The final level, at the peak of the tower, is a chapel. This is an area for meditation and prayer. There are also several artifacts there collected from around the world. It is rumored that these artifacts helped increase the psychic abilities he uses in his attacks.

There are several other facts that should be known about the tower. Along with being a heavy-armored stronghold, there are other features that increase its defensive capabilities. And energy field can cover the entire tower to prevent damage and intrusion from outside forces. It is all powered by a massive generator 100 meters below the ground, functioning off both nuclear and thermal power. There is no access to the generator by anyone above ground. The generator is maintained by drones that were buried along with the power plant, so it would take a while to get to it. There are several heavy guns and cannons hidden in the large walls to add to its fort-like qualities. The area directly around, especially in front, of the tower contains a clearing of about 80 yards, to give a clear line of fire for the tower's defenses.

Surrounding the whole complex, and much of the clan, are large box-like ruins that are the pedestal for statues or the remains of an ancient building, at least that's what they look like. In truth, each are just a cover for more defensive turrets, used mostly against airships and large armies. They vary between high-caliber gatling gun, rail guns, and missile pods. Every gun's range overlaps one another to form a defensive web, and the guns are even closer together around the tower making any assault...unwise.

Heavy Construction Facility

The visibly shorter building next to the tower is the construction facility, designed to build heavier machines than drones, such as vehicles and airships. The building only looks small, the true complex lies underground. It is much larger than the tower, only because of the space needed to build and store battleship-styled airships. Only 20 can be built before the space is filled, and with the lack of a war, all ships are being maintained on stand by.

There is also a smaller area to hold transport airships and the Warpath tanks. It's frightening to see what the Dark Clan's war capabilities are.
