The Silmeria Chronicles
Chapter 1
Amalia looked outside her bedroom window watching a bird flying across the sea as the sun rised and she sighed.She wished that she could be as free as that bird .She heared a knock on the door and said "Come in". Amalia's bodyguard walked in "Miss Amalia breakfest is ready"Amalia took one last look out the window and walked out her room She hated being followed around everywhere she went . She a 9 year old girl and she couldn't go anywhere without somone watching When they reached the Dinning room, Amalia's bodyguard opened the door .Amaliawalked to her chair and said "Good morning mother, fahter"and sat down next to her mother
Her father didn't look away from his newspaper and said"Amalia".A maid brought Amalia her food and she strated eating .As she ate Amalia daydreaming about her futrue adnetures she would take on altough she knew that was impossible if she stayed living with her family. The Azure Rogues. A family of self proclamiced 'Advaced pirates'. Their only pupose was to show their domniance by getting treasure before the pirates could , while eradicating them in the process .Amalia really never knew about her family's business, they kept it away from her, along with the outside world .No firends, no fun , no life. Amalia knew that this was not the way to live. Her father removed the newspaper from his face .His middle aged face bore a scar going down his eyes with a blue colored eyepatch partially covering it .His bald head and long mustasche came to give him a qutie an imtiminating look. Despite his rough with a proper cool voice.''Nathan keep the house tip-top for us, me and Natila are going out for buiness trip again" he said with a smirk on his face. Natalia looked at her husband with a returning smirk annd laughed lightly.
Without saying anything anthign more , they quickly rose from their seats and bid good-bye to Nathan and Amalia"Trying to find it again?"asked Nahtan , brushing his tuxedo quite nervososly.
They responed with no reply to his question and started to head out the door Amalia was unfazed by that scence .Her parents alwayas do this she didn't care anymore .Nathan sighed "Once again I'm stuck watching these brats"Amalia looked at him then stmoped on his foot .
''YEE-OUCH!" .He yelped"Ow you should be a pirate, you rough girl."
Amalia then dropped her shoppen and then ran to her room, her blue hair trailing behind her .Nahthan just stared at her and breathed heavily"What an odd little girl"
"Odd? Maybe ..... but's that'a a future Rogue"said a voice behind Nathan.A young boy atleast in his early teenage year walked infront of Nathan , his spiky blue hair contrasted with his bizzare crimson eyes that were locked on Nathan.Nathan body's started twitching with "Ah.... M-Master Shane....."Nathan manged to get out but Shane sensing Nathan's fear, laughed then left "Go do your job"
Nathan quickly left from the dinning area and head for Amalia's room that's where she always was. His job is easy yrt really...boring. Nathan opened her door with a sarcastic,"Having fun as usual,I persume?" But he sadi that to nothing but the wind that blew in from the open window"Amalia?" Nathan crazilly searched around the room, but found on one, except a letter that was hurriedly written Nathan read the letter:
- I'm going to be a pirate.Thanks to Nathan for the idea!
-Amalia Azure-
Nathan dropped the letter and silently cursed to himself"Why me, why poor Nathan?" He thought, but sitting there thinking won't do any good .He made a gigantic leap out of the open window "Amalia!" he screamed "YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE A DAMN PIRATE....NEVER!"
When Nathan landed he thought "Amalia is a 9 years old girl , she just left for her room a few seconds ago, she couldn't got that far , and strated runnig to where Amaila would usually go ot the cliff overlooking the sea ."me and my big mouth" Amalia looked around around the town watching the people walking around "Ok I have to know hang out "she thoguht to herself. Amalia walked up to man and said "Excuse me sir do you know where i can find pirates?" The man turnned around and looked down at Amalia"Are you playing with you friends little girl?" Amalia frown and stomped her feet "No I'm not playing pirates .I'm looking for for REAL PIRATES!"
The man laughed "That's cute , now run along "Amalia stomped on his foot and run away.She walked up to another man and asked him the pirate question. The man looked at her and pointed to the local bar. ''Pirates are always in bar" As Amlia starts walking away the man behind her shouts "But be careful they will beat you up and steal you monkey.....and ....and"Amalia looks at the man strangly "DON'T BE LIKE ME..... DON'T BE LIKE ME !...... don't be like me and the man ran away.
"Ok..... crazy"She walked to the bar and opened the door and saw men drinking, shouting , talking and trying to flirt with the witness. She looked around the bar and she notice a monkey tail twitching "Oooohh....".She walked to the monkey and patted his head, while she was patting his , she overheared someone say" I hate pirates, they are some dishonorable sons of bitchs , they steal , cheat and kill"Amalia not liking what he sadi kicked him" Ouch what the-"he looked down and saw Amalia looking up at him ,a middle aged man, eyepatch on his right eye and a scar on the left and a goatee"Little girl why are you kicking me?"
"Pirates are very cool people. They are not dishonorable."said Amalia kicking him again.
"Ouch. What do you know about pirates little girl?"said the man standing up .Amalia thought about it and said "Um... let's see umm.. pirates are..."
"You see litlle girl you don't know nothign about the pirate live. Pirates love adventures, pirates travel the world looking for treasure."
"Wiat a mintue just a second ago you was dissing pirates and know you are talking about their wonderful live are. Are you a pir-
''Oh look at the time, I should get going" said the man as he strats going to the door and the man's monkey waved bye at Amalia. Amalia thought"If he know about the pirate life, then that must mean " Amalia smiled and walked out the bar "Mnan that was close Mr. Chimps Chimps "the monkey on his shoulder nodded. The more he walked the more the stronger the feelibg he got of being followed , he turns around and saw Amalia smiling at him "Run along girl. Go to your mother" He turns around and starts walking again. Amalia kept following him . He turns around once more and saw Amali waving ''Is she going to following me where ever I go'' he thought .He took a step , so did Amalia , he took another and so did Amalia. After a few more steps he stop and broke into a run .The man looked back and saw no one following him. He made it back to the docks and saw his ship. He saw one of his crew mates waving at him. When he broaded his ship the crew mates asked him"Sir how was your day?"
"Is was good , got a few drinks and few laughes but that all end when this little girl walked into the bar and started talking about pirates"
"A little girl about 9 years old"
"Yeah"
"Bue hair and green eyes"
"Yeah how did you know?" the man looked at his crew mate confused " Were you following me to?"
"You brought her on the ship" said the crew mate pointting to the little girl holding to his shoulders.The man pick Amalia off his back with one hand and hold her up in the air .Amaila smiled and said "Hi"
"Didn't I tell you to home ? " the man put Amalia down and sighed."Now how do I get rid of you, little girl ?!"The pirate with the monkey said to Amalia, who was giving him a huge smile, whiched then turned into frown.
"My name isn't little girl ! " Amalia kicked him again in the stmach.He winced in pain then put her down .He then got on one knee then got close to Amalia "Then whatis it?"
Before she could even say anything, something sprang out from sea neardy and landed a few away from Amalia. "Amaliburggzzz....."It said, obviously stuggling to talk. The pirate walked over to the thing and picked seaweed from it's face , revealing a person familar to Amalia." Well now..." he said, but the person spat a small fish from his mouth, hitting the pirate right in the face."Nathan?" Amalia said , shocked at his sudder appearance. The pirate then turned around to Amalia " Nathan?" Amalia nodded. The pirate thought to himself for a few seconds then laughed heartily." Nathan, huh? What kind of parents would name their daughter such a manly name ?It's qutie dull to!?" Nathan picked up the small fish he spat out and threw it at the pirate "I'll have you know her name is Amalia Azure, you twit!!" Nathan declared, "And Nathan isn't a dull name..."
The pirates almost stumbled hearing the last name ' Azure' "She's of the Azure Rouges family, huh?" Nathan stood up proudly and did a cocky laugh." That's right, and I'm a body..erm, I mean member of them, so hand her over to me or face sheer consequences!" Amalia inched closer to the pirate and clutched his leg tightly.
"Doesn't look like she want to go."
"What's that?"
"You heard, so she's with me."
"Are you not aware of the Azure Rouges? Do you really want to do this?"
"I'll take my chances."
"You must be out of your mind...don't make me come over there."
Amalia strated trembling and shaking, causing him to brush her off a little. Nathan strated walking closer toward Amalia, but the pirate stood in his way."I'm a pirate, Mister Azure Rouges.....a captain at that?" Nathan stopped moving .Fear ravaged his mind and body.Pirates obviously knew how to fight, who knows what he might have underneath that coat of his,except for that creepy monkey poking his head from it.With quick thinking,Nathan screamed out,"PIRATES ON THE DOCKS, PIRATES ON THE DOCKS!!" The people at the prot strated to freak out.
Sooner or alter, the Navy would be here, and the pirate captain wanted nothing to do with them."You wanna be a pirate Miss Amalia, then you're coming with me!" The pirate said then picked her up and darted for his ship, but Nathan tripped him. Amalia fell and rolled a little , and Nathan grabbed her leg"Witch, you are going nowhere!" As he pulled her closer, something round, brown, and kinda big made contact with his head, making a "KLOK!" sound in the process. Nathan dropped to the ground out cold and the pirate captain picked her up again dashing fo the ship. The town's soldiers yelled stop as they run to the ship Their orders were ignored as the pirate and Amalia was on the ship "Set sail dammit, the soldiers are here, and the Navy would make even more annoying guests!" He commanded, and they responed with a big"AYE, AYE! "
In a few moments, they set sail and were off, the soldiers managed to shoot their firearms a few times, but didn't hit anything. The captain dropped to the deek of the ship sighing as he stared at the sky .Amila was estatic, she jumped around and squealed with excitement. She then went to the captain."Thanks for saving me back there!" she said. He cluckled."It wasn't me, you could thank my little companion" .He pointed to the monkey beside him."Mr. Chimps Chimps , Amalia." Amlia giggled"I think we already meat, but thank you, friend!" The crew members thenthen crowed around the captain."Captain why are we being followed by the Navy ? " noe of them asked. The captain jumped up "Well shiver me timbers...... they are !? "he stored his goatee. A drunken man stumbled over to the captain with a telescpoe. "Weiser, how far are they? ". The man know as Weiser looked into the telescope in a drunken way, "Far, if we keep going stright along this path, they'll never catch up captain." Amalia was puzzled as to why the captain would make a drunken man give dircetions ."Ah, listen up pirates, this is the newset member of our crew, Amalia Azure!" Everyone gasped ."Then thats would explain the Navy coming for asses, right? "one of them asked. ''Long story..." he said with a sigh "Excuse me captain asking, but won't that make the Rouges hunt us down for one of their own?" The captain laughed, "Why hunt for something that is no onger theirs, she's one of us now, right Amalia?" Amalia nodded and screamed, "YEAH!! " The captain then stopped, "Tos how you're no longer of that crappy family, you need a new name!" .Before Amalia could say anything the crew members all barraged her with names.
"Billy "
"What kind of name is that ? Alexis!!"
"No Jackie Johnson!"
All these names being showered upon her made Amalia scream, "SHUT UP!!" Everyone went silent. Amalia then smiled "Thank you!".Amalia then climbed on the captain shoulders." Listen up........ my name from now on is............."
When they heared that name , they erution with appaluse. From there, the captain introdued her to his crew. She only remembered the names of Weiser Bud, the drunked navigator and taction who was never seen without his liqour bottle. A kid aslo a kid who was a little older then her named Maxwell Benjamin.The last one was Jayne a female who was the weapons specialist. Those three people and crew was an formidadle force, and throughout the years after meeting Amalia... their lives would change dramtically.........
-8 years later-
"Master Shane ....... we have finally located the Silmeria on Zilos' island, shall we set sail?" The intiminating Shane Azure brushed his spiky hair and set his crimson eyes on the person who spoke to him "Yes Nathan, set sail for there immediately." As Nathan was leaving ,Shane spoke to him. "Was that really true about Amaila, my dear sister?"
" I wouldn't lie to you Master Shane, those pirates took her away and said that they'll sink the Azure Rogues into the sea."
Shane clenched his fists "If I ever see that same crew of pirates, I'll make them share the same fate."
-Meanwhile-
"Captain, Ziols' island is nearby, our food is runnig low so docking there is a good change to stock up " a crew member said . The captain smiled then patted the head of his monkey ." Yeah let's go there, I'm sick of coconuts.... say Chimps Chimps where do you get them?' Mr chimps Chimps scurried away.
Maxwell looked at the approaching island and frowned. "We never been before, I wonder who we'll meet or see... what do you think beautiful? " The person who he was talking to stepped up and flicked her blue colored hair. "I don't know , but we'll find out soon enough, now won't we.... and get your hand off my butt, you perv! " She was about to smack him, but a flying coconut hit him upside his head "KLOK!" He hit the floor "I hate that monkey"
