Here in my dwelling is where I shall stay
Until my mistress the moon bids me to obey
My collar wound tight, her fingers caress, this hunger in me to be sated again

Lust and desire, take hold once more
Only to break me down in this cold night still
It is this animal that awakens my love and my wonder
This animal that sends my good will a-sunder

Why can I not bid my lips to move,
To protest your tongue against my own
This sinful dance that has me enthralled
As you take me, mind, body, and all

And then I am left, alone in the dark
She leaves me once more, and alone I must walk
Till next night falls, and once more she calls
The dance of the sinners I am once more to fall

So take me you devils of the dark
I am your lover of the night
For morning shall come all too soon,
And with it, the submission of my mistress, the moon
