Lycian Religous Beliefs

Lycian people were a peaceful group. Their religion centered around certain known Deities. Hecate, Selene, Artemis, Gaia, Cerrunnos, and Lupa.
Hecate, Selene, and Artemis were their choosen Moon deities. They would call upon them duringt he full and new moons to help gain strength in their lunar powers. Gaia and Cerrunnos were their choosen Earth Dieties. They would call upon them to protect their homes and forests and plants. And Lupa, Mother Wolf. She is the one who they believed to be the great mother of their kind.The looked up to her in protecting them and helping them shift and grow to be stronga nd healthy. To look over their children and elders.
They did perform magick quite regulary, used to help put up protection barriers to keep enemies away, bless their plants and food, to help heal a sick or injured one, and much more.
