I dedicate this poem to the one person who loved me for me...I will never forget him nor will I ever see him again:
When You Said "I Love You"
I wanted to say "I love You too"
But my mind said too soon...
how could you love me?
My heart said I don't want to be hurt
My legs kept trudging through the dirt
You turned me around
And said again " I love You"
My soul lept for joy
And sang a glourious song
But my mind and heart doubted you all along
Slowly I realized that my heart and mind were wrong
They too started to sing along in that glorious song
I have returned to you to day
Cause I have something to say
"I love you too"
