So, as the titles says.
I need a root canal in my tooth, the one tooth that has bothered me my entire life. It's tooth #19: This tooth when it was a baby got a cavity, in which I got it taken out and replaced with a silver tooth. Then my permanent tooth got rid of my silver tooth, now the SAME tooth I have has two cavities in it, making me either do one of two things:
1) Get a Root Canal, then get it re-crowned, which in essence will take about $2,200 to complete (it's like a 5-part operation on ONE Damn Tooth >< wink
or:
2) Get the entire tooth pulled out for about $240, and later down the road, possibly get a silver/gold/pimped tooth for however much.
Either way, it's going to be frantically painful, and I'm now on Meds to make the hurt go away until I get the thing removed.
Damn you #19.
So my question is to whoever reads this: Would you rather get a Root Canal, or lose the entire tooth?
Thanks to all how answer and read.
