YAY! I have been chosen to compete in an art portfolio contest! ^^ YAY! So I am spending my spring break working on my portfolio, which is getting really boring really fast XP but it could be worse XD I do get to show some of my better costumes which is fun ^^ I was saving one of them to be seen for the first time at ACEN (anime central…the anime con I go to every spring) but this is as good a time as any I guess. ^^
My art teacher was really nice and even gave some canvases to work with ^^ YAY! Free canvassed are always a good thing ^^ but I don’t know what all to paint T.T I know that I am an anime artist but I have to draw more realistic stuff or abstract for the contest….I no know what to draw T.T all the realistic that I have is either fanart of Gerard Way (lead singer of MCR) or Johnny Deep as Sweeney Todd XD ^^ LOL I do have some non anime, but that’s all skeletons or random designs that remind me of Pan’s Labyrinth (awesome movie btw)
Well I’m really excited about this contest and one of the best parts is that I get to miss a full day of school for it XD ^^ YAY! Only 2 people from my school were picked to participate and 3 were asked to come and watch…I get to compete! ^^ YAY!
