disclaimer: I know it isn't much of a disclaimer but Matsuri Hino owns Vampire Knight which is what I'm basing the school off of. have fun reading!!
I rolled over with a grunt on Zak's couch. My eyes fluttered open and I sat up quickly.
"Where am I!?" I shouted. It wasn't Zak's living room. It was a car. Okay, car didn't describe it. It was a limo.
"We're on our way to a new school. It's called Aero Academy." He said, his elbow on his knee and his hand holding his head up as he lazily attempted to stay awake. My eyes finally closed and I fell asleep again.
A few hours later my eyes opened and I was just in time to see a servant boy with silvery hair open the door. I slowly got out of the limo after him. I nodded to the boy.
"Thanks." I said. He smiled widely and nodded back, evidently not used to much kindness. Zak turned around.
"Hey, are you gonna fall asleep again?" He asked. I laughed.
"I think I'm gonna be awake for a while now." I said, he led me into the place which was evidently Aero Academy. A boy who look absolutely just like Zak, ran around the corner with a laugh, not paying attention. A man who was evidently a teacher ran after him, drenched in paint. The boy crashed into Zak and looked up. A look of pure fear crossed his face and Zak grabbed him by the shirt collar and lifted him in the air.
"Hm, Kurochi, long time no see." He said mockingly and set him back on the ground. I popped up behind Zak.
"Who's that?" I asked, still in shock.
"Unfortunately he's my brother." Zak said with a roll of his eyes. I nodded to him.
"My name's Espira." I said, attempting to cheer him up. The teacher had evidently disappeared because he walked with us as Zak continued to lead me to an unknown area.
"Kurochi." He said, lingering behind us when he walked. I didn't mention it to Zak though. Finally Zak opened a door labeled OFFICE just as a girl with chestnut brown hair and green eyes was coming out. She gasped.
"Zakary-sama!" She cried and jumped up, her arms wrapped around his neck, and kissed him in which Zak kissed her back as she did. My face went red and I looked away. Kurochi walked up and seperated the two with a look of disgust.
"Get a room. I'll take Miss Espira to get her dorm. Her grabbed my hand and pulled me into the room and shut the door, leaving Zak and the girl out.
"Who-Who was that?" I asked.
"Sachie. His girlfriend." He said. I nodded slowly. My stomach became upset but I passed it off that I was hungry. What else could it be anyways? Kurochi smiled and talked to a lady behind the desk. I couldn't help but stare. He was exactly the same as Zak except he had a scar on his neck that was long and jagged. How could someone get a scar on his neck? Oh. Right. Zak was a vampire and Kurochi was probably one too. Without turning around he sighed. "Stop staring. I'm not him." I blushed.
"I-I wasn't-" I stuttered.
"Yes you were. Everyone compares me to him." He said and didn't turn around until the lady gave him a key and he gently took my arm and led me down the hall where Zak was waiting, still lip-locked with Sachie. I looked up at Kurochi somehow pleadingly and he laughed softly. He began to run and I followed him down the hall, my dirty blonde hair flying behind me.
After a while I lay on my dorm bed and Kurochi sat in a chair. I lightly touched my teeth and sat up.
"Kurochi, I'm confused." I said softly. He sat beside me.
"What about?" He asked.
"Zak...he said I was a...a vampire." I said. He smiled.
"Yes, you are. But you haven't had blood yet. So you don't crave it." He said with a smile. I slowly nodded. "Don't drink it though. Try as long as you can to stay mostly half human. I wish I knew that...before..." He trailed off and I lightly touched his shoulder.
"Before what?" I asked. He looked up.
"Before Zak made me a vampire." He said almost coldly. I touched the scar on his neck and now knew exactly where it had come from.
