Sabrina Online is a webcomic written by Eric W. Schwartz I discovered as of yesterday. It consists of the trials and tribulations of a young skunk Sabrina Mustelidae and those of her friends consisting of of Amy Squirrel, Thomas Wolfe, her sister Tabitha, Richard Conrad, and her boss Zigzag. It is somewhat an adult-themed comic in that mature content is sometimes used, but kept to a tame aspect, with the only exceptions being Sabrina reluctantly works at the adult movie studio run by Zigzag as its graphics designer. The animals are in scale with one another (with the exceptions of Tom's father and Spike Wolfe) and capable of having children.

Sabrina Mustelidae is the heroine of the comic, a striped skunk like the rest of her family at the age of 22. She is seen as a computer geek and toy geek--mostly for Transformer figures--and video games, much to her friend and roommate Amy's annoyance, but to the adoration of Zigzag and Richard. Like her mother, Sabrina can be a bit of a prude and unsocial around Zigzag or any of her staff based on what they do, but in later years seems to be warming up, if somewhat grudingly. She is also very sweet, kind, romantic and sensitive. Sabrina gets along fairly well with her father Warren and even her hyperactive little sister Tabitha. It's her mother Endora that she takes the most issues with, as she sees herself as a grown woman who can live her own life, yet on some level still desires her mother's approval.
For most of the comic in 1997 she was looking for a guy to talk to in RC computer sites, but most of the men she met would repeatedly hit on her, discouraging her from pursuing someone for a fair while. She moved in with her friend Amy Squirrel upon going to college and was completely aware of her relationship with her old high school from Thomas Wolfe. Sabrina was completely supportive and mothering to both her friends when Amy became pregnant with Tom's child, finding a shell-shocked Thomas shivering in the stairwell.
Finally she met the man she had desired to from a mystery man through her comp, though at times accidentally deleted the messages. When finally able to speak to her mystery man, Sabrina had a "session" with him when Amy walked in, and discovered her other net friend Carli Chinchilla had watched the whole thing.
Having graduated from college, Sabrina applied to become a graphic designer, unwittingly taking the job at the adult films studio Z Studios. Still determined to go through with the interview, she was startled (and a bit disgusted) to come face to face with her future employer Zigzag. She found the job and that her boss seemed to be hitting on her to be a total and utter embarrassment, but resolves to stick it out so far upon seeing how much she's being paid. Because of her prudish mother Endora, Sabrina has gone to great lengths to hide what kind of place she works in and exactly what kind of person Zigzag is.
Sabrina learned that Carli had invited her and RC to a science fiction convention in Cincinnati and saw this as a way of finally meeting her mystery man, though convinced the still-pregnant Amy and Thomas to come with her. She was not at all disappointed to meet the raccoon Richard Conrad, but was utterly when Amy's water broke. It would not be in vain, however, as sometime later she and Richard would become a couple like Amy and Thomas. For Sabrina, it can be said meeting Richard was love at first sight.
It was while reluctantly going with Zigzag on a business trip that Sabrina learned of her employer's bisexuality and infatuation with her, though she would just as rather have almost nothing to do with her if it were at all avoidable, but in later years seems to grow accepting of Zig to some extent.
Sabrina normally wears glasses and a blue top. Her pants match her natural fur pattern, which is a gag where she poses to the reader "I suppose you thought I wore nothing below the waist" after Amy is seen with a similar lower fur pattern. This gag is used again during an outing with Richard.

Amy Squirrel a gray squirrel with blond hair, pink top and blue skirt, though in her original appearances when she was Eric's first character she was topless; the shirt was probably a request from censors. In these segments before Sabrina Online she had a much too forward boyfriend before meeting Thomas.
Although she and Sabrina seem to be friends as well as roommates, she finds it annoying that Sabrina has a fascination with toys, at one point snapping that they aren't real. Amy is quite motherly and at some points sisterly towards Sabrina and Richard. She calls Thomas by his full first name rather than "Tom" for reasons unknown. Whenever Sabrina is stuck with babysitting her sister Tabitha, Amy often finds herself tricked into babysitting when Sabrina doesn't want to.
According to Amy, she is 26 years old.
Her romance with Thomas Wolfe begins at first sight and quickly leads to sexual experiences. While Thomas is away, Amy discovers she is pregnant with their child but puts off telling Thomas until again they're being intimate. Convinced she has scared him away with the news, she resolves to have the baby herself until Thomas returns and proposes. While informing their parents, Amy learns that Thomas is a hybird; his mother is a fox, his father a larger than usual wolf. This also brings the issue to her mind that in "ancient times" squirrels were no more than a prey item to wolves. Her father Carl was quite supportive and accepting of her unexpected pregnancy, so far as to calling to his wife Carrie in the next room "Come and meet your grandchild!" He also requests his wife "let 'em be" while Thomas and Amy are in her old room. While in Cincinnati with Sabrina to meet her boyfriend Richard, Amy's water breaks and undergoes a horrendous labor, but ends up with a beautiful baby boy--half-squirrel/half-wolf--Timothy.
Amy likes to tease Sabrina about her work situation, and even recognizes "a vixen" that works at the studio from high school, noting she always knew she'd end up working in porn. Upon meeting Zigzag, she tells the hybrid that she isn't quite what she expected, and gets offered a job at the studio at the same time.
Although voicing annoyance with Sabrina's toy fascination, she spends most of her time keeping Sabrina's collection out of the hands of her infant son for Sabrina's sake as much as Timmy's.


Thomas Wolfe is an old friend of Sabrina's from high school and began dating Amy soon after meeting her (apparently on a college campus in the webcomic and at the movies in an animated segment). Although at first scared into histerics after learning she was pregnant, he realized how much he loved her and proposed, much to Amy's happiness.
He has an unnamed vixen mother and a larger than usual wolf father named Roy.
Thomas is probably the type of son-in-law and husband that no one can find any fault with, as Amy's parents were utterly accepting of the situation and the fact that he's a wolf. He is also quite moral when in Amy's old room, despite Amy overpowering him due to hormones. Upon learning Zigzag had told Amy she'd make a fine adult film actress, Thomas was interested until learning that people other than he would be watching the videos. He holds conversations with his infant son Timothy, pretending to understand his baby talk.
Just like Sabrina is a Transformers collector, it's once implied that Thomas collected Beanie Babies, giving Sabrina a Stinky the Skunk in a Christmas strip.

Carli Chinchilla is the Internet friend of both Sabrina and Richard. Carli sports glasses and a ponytail. She can be a busybody and "chatterbox", much to the annoyance of her boyfriend Spike Wolfe. Carli seems to enjoy referring to wolves as "big dumb males", though this may be a term of endearment more than insult. She also seems incapable of getting off the comp or speaking in Internet lingo, unless Spike encloses her entire head in a gigantic fist. Sometime after Sabrina had begun working for Zigzag, Carli married Spike.
She could be seen as the one who brought Sabrina and Richard together.

Tabitha Mustiledae is Sabrina's younger sister (20 years younger, to be exact) their parents had unintentionally. Sometimes Sabrina is charged with babysitting Tabitha if she can't avoid it. It seems Sabrina and their parents are the only people Tabitha really behaves for, as she causes an amount of stress for Amy and Jack Black Rabbit when Sabrina can get out of the duty. The only other exception would seem to be Zigzag, whom Tabitha has come to idolize.
Tabitha is insightful for her age and gives both Max and Richard advice regarding Sabrina.

Max Black Rabbit is, as his name implies, a black rabbit who normally wears a shirt. Max and Sabrina were in college together and during that time he slowly began to develop a crush on her, something Sabrina, her sister Tabitha, and mostly everyone else was aware of. During the early years he was charged with babysitting Tabitha and received teasing from Sabrina when she spied him giving Tabitha a goodnight kiss on the cheek. As thanks for his help, Sabrina kissed his cheek.
Since then, Max has appeared periodically in Sabrina Online trying to confess his feelings for Sabrina, but normally finds himself thwarted or in competition with Richard.
He has 71 nieces and 1 nephew.

Tonya "Zigzag" Zumbrowski is a skunk like the Mustiledaes, but has a more tapered snout and her grandfather was a Siberian tiger, rendering her "zebra-patterned" and earning her the nickname "Zig-zag", which she had legally changed from Zumbrowski, a name she possibly doesn't despise without reason. She is the bisexual head of the adult film studio Double Z Studios as well as one of the actresses and a well renowned porn star. Zigzag claims being bi helps in her line of work.
Despite this status, Zigzag was born in a dirt poor family with a physically and verbally abusive father and a spineless mother and two smaller siblings, though she was the only one in the household to bare her pattern. Because of her pattering, Zigzag was viewed with more distaste in childhood than anything else, but was able to make a cherished few friends who gave her her commonly used nickname. Due to her mother's incompetence, Zigzag raised both her siblings and protected them from the brunt of their father, going as far to openly rebel against their parents into adolescence. When she began to grow out, it's implied her father tried sexual abuse. One night he struck her so hard that she actually bled. This was enough for Zigzag and she left, vowing to return for her siblings. Because of her pattern, she was viewed with both awe and still some hatred, as employers found her to look odd. The best she could do were as extras in films. It was during this time that she actually began to make more friends. Because of her looks, Zigzag was desperately poor and would take any part offered. Finally, her agent hesitantly offered her a part in a "Blue Video". If not for her bad way, Zigzag may not have taken it. Discovering that she was good, Zigzag and her friends took an old warehouse and turned it into Double Z Studios.
Upon meeting Sabrina, Zigzag takes an instant infatuation with her and uses her flirting as an excuse to get the girl to "loosen up", seeing her as a prude, but a cute prude. Some of the staff have voiced "I think the boss has a thing for the computer geek", which isn't too far from the truth. Zigzag herself admits to not understanding the attraction she feels for Sabrina, but accepts it as a possibility when Sabrina poses the question "because I'm the only one in the studio you haven't slept with?" Although she accepts--to some extent--that she can't be Sabrina's lover, she makes great efforts to learn about and get as close to Sabrina as she can, normally to Sabrina's horror where her parents or the impressionable pair of Tabitha and Timothy are concerned.
Zigzag can be a shameless flirt and excebitonist, but also has a mature and preachy side; she tells Sabrina that most of the studio staff are either couples or intimate when not on camera, as the films are not truly a great way to express intimacy. She sees her employees as family and has loving feelings for them all, and can be fiercely protective of them. She is also a tease and playful, as she teases Richard about eying her in front of Sabrina. She has a soft side for Tabitha and Amy's Timothy, going to great pains to keep the studio clean while the minors are there if Sabrina is stuck babysitting, probably due to her past as being both mother and sister to her own siblings.
Her pattern may or may not have been inspired by the spotted skunk line.

Spike Wolfe is Carli's boyfriend/huband. Spike is gigantic with large muscular arms. The strong silent type, what Spike lacks in talking, he more than makes up for in action. When he feels Carli is talking too much or is being too annoying, he closes one or both of his gigantic fists around her head until she quiets down.

Richard Conrad the 22 year old raccoon that had been Internet chatting with Sabrina before Carli "arranged for them to meet" at a sci-fi convention in Cincinnati. For the pair of them it was love at first sight, but Sabrina was dragged away because Amy had gone into labor.
While Sabrina is a graphics designer, Richard works in tech support and likes to think he is paid well. Endora wonders aloud when Sabrina brings him to meet her family if it's enough to support Sabrina...or any children they may have.
Richard is much like Sabrina in that he's also a computer/toy geek (even wears glasses similar to hers'), is a selfconcious at times but still is loving and completely devoted and committed to Sabrina upon becoming an official couple. Although willing to try and become intimate, the pair almost talked each other out if it, before Sabrina's "instincts" kicked in. Much to Sabrina's shock, not only has Richard heard of her boss Zigzag and familiar with her work, said he would have liked to meet her at Zigzag's staff party. Like Sabrina, it seems Richard is not entirely safe from Zig's flirty behavior.
Richard has an amicable relationship with Sabrina's father Warren.

Timothy Squirrel-Wolfe is the infant son of Amy and Thomas, making him a hybrid like his father. Timothy normally has mini misadventures on his own either in his crib or since he's begun to crawl in later years. He speaks in baby gibberish which his father pretends to understand. While he looks just to be a baby wolf, he seems to have inherited his mother's bushy tail.

Tina is possibly a bobcat or a lynx and often seen in Zigzag's company. She never seems to take off her sunglasses and has a sisterly relationship with Zig. Things they discuss most often seem to be Zigzag's feelings for Sabrina. Based on that she wears a sweat shirt, it's implied that Tina doesn't take part in the company films. A strip suggests she too is bisexual.

Sheila Vixen the red fox is one of the close employees of Zigzag and in a relationship with another employee Rod Steele. It seems a running gag concerning Sheila is her large breasts, Zigzag once stating she feels the reason the vixen beats her at drinking contests is because "she stores the extra booze in her knockers".
Sheila is very fun-loving, passionate sexually, and to be honest, some consider her to be a bit ditsy and Zigzag can often become annoyed with her habit of not following scripts.
Her first appearance is asking Zigzag if she struck out with Sabrina, and getting sprayed for her cheek. She next appeared at Zig's staff party telling Sabrina the apparent success and popular girl she is around the studio without even trying before pouncing on her boyfriend. The third time she appeared (naked) was in front of Richard and Warren while Sabrina and Zigzag were giving the pair of tour of the studio, and vigorously shook both their hands before going off to her scene; although nudity is not a factor in the comic as the animals are completely covered by fur, this was enough for Richard to remark "wow" and Sabrina to question "'wow' what?" Later she spoke with Warren and took an instant liking when he stated her "performance" was powerful. She told Rod to be nice "he likes me". The fourth was in a public service video Zigzag was making for Endora starring as Miss Velvet with Rod as Mr. Johnson; though she had to keep being reminded they were not making a dirty video, as she kept flirting with her boyfriend.
It's unknown if she is the vixen Amy knew in school.

Darke Katt is the black cat janitor of Z Studios. She is quite bitter, despite saying that her janitor job is all that keeps her from starving and is prone to swearing. Although Darke says she hates her life, her job, and Zigzag for giving her the custodian job, she seems to stay at the studio because she's well-paid and treated nicely like most of the cast and crew. She also seems to be a heavy drinker, drinking straight from a bottle when Richard meets her at Zigzag's staff party.

Rod Steele is Shelia's boyfriend and a brown todd (male fox) as well as employee and friend of Zigzag. He has minor appearances.

The Skunkette Sisters Stacey Skunkette and Tracey Taylor are a pair of hog-nosed skunk lovers that work at the Double Z Studios from the start. Stacey is 24 while Tracey is 20. The pair are rarely seen apart if they can help it and truly care for each other. Because they don't want to tarnish their relationship, they've become bisexual like Zigzag.
They're distinguishable from each other because Stacey has longer hair and a white stripe going from her forehead to her nose, while Tracey does not, has tomboyish hair, and a pink decoration behind her right(or left) ear.
Tracey has actually appeared more times in the comic strip than Stacey, her latest appearance was coming out of a theater room after having watched Transformers the Movie, with Stacey nowhere in sight.
