HER SMILE

Her smile, so sweet and pure,
still lingers in all my thoughts.
Her smile, beautious and gracious,
flows through my mind like a sweet fragrance.
Her smile, through so many tears and so much pain,
slightly twists as if to flich or wince in agony.
Her smile, now bent in innocent desire,
contorts her heart as it wrenches mine.
Her smile stunning and deadly,
malevolently rips through my mind,
seering my so far persistant heart.
Her smile, broken though betrayal,
bites viciously at me and herself.
Her smile, cold and insincere,
is now lost in her lack of affection.
Her smile, now reduced to the emotionless display of teeth,
is as mine now that she is gone.
Her smile, still gorgious and beautious,
lingers in dreams as my heart refuses to let her go.
