I never thought that my life could be so peculiar. Today, after my dad saw that I got a few problems wrong on my English test, he beat me. I have a sliced face as well as a big bruise on my butt.
An hour after the beating he came into my room, and handed me a letter that my mom had written before she died. I started sobbing, and you know what? He held me, and even though it hurt like crazy, I didn't mind the pain. I miss my mom a lot. I wish she could keep dad from hitting me, but she's gone now and never coming back.
On the bright side, Jen was over and helped me. She cleaned up my face and then braided my hair, to distract me from the loss of my mom I think. Well, anyway, I can't let daddy catch me on so au revoir!
